I'm use the miniprotein exosome bioactive ampoule and then I add this on top of that. I still feel like my skin is extremely dry and tight. It's super dry around my eyes and actually causes some dry flaking. Is there a different moisturizer that works better than the ultra plush rich cream? Or should I be using something else with it? I really don't want to have to use 4+ products just to moisturize my skin.

We strongly encourage you to use products specifically formulated and tested for the under eyes. Our Pure Radiance Brightening Eye Cream. This eye cream is loaded with amazing moisturizing agents and utilizes 5 ceramides (Np, As, Ns, Ap and Eos) that when combined form a biometric blend that closely mimics the skins natural lipid matrix. Each ceramide helps to strengthen and sooth easily irritated or sensitive skin. This might be a perfect option for the eye area dryness. For the rest of your skin it sounds like your are suffering from dehydration on a deeper level. We have 2 products that address the driest of skin which are the Ultra Plush Rich Cream that address surface level moisturization and it's sister product the Super Oasis Concentrated Serum - which utilizes Nobel Prize winning research to address skin's aquaporin functions to target the root cause of dryness in the skin. Without knowing more about your individual skin it is difficult to say definitively. What we can say is that all of Peach & Lily products are formulated to be non-comedogenic and safe for all skin types. In regards to the Ultra Plush Rich Cream - this cream was designed for people with very dry and dehydrated skin. For most people who are oily or acne prone this may be too much moisturization. Hello: Can you please tell me the difference between this cream and the P&L Rescue Party Barrier Cream? I have dry mature skin that has a very hard time retaining moisture. In addition to giving long-lasting hydration/moisture, I prefer a cream that gives a dewy finish (not matte). I'm trying to decide between these two creams. Thank you!

The Ultra Plush Rich Cream is specifically made for ultra dry skin and aims to replenish the skin's aquaporin reservoirs, using Nobel Prize Award winning research, and encourages osmosis in the skin (balancing the skins water supply and retention). The Ultra Plush rich Cream is most certainly our dewiest moisturizer in the line. The Rescue Party Comfort Cream, by comparison, is also a thicker cream "whipped" texture but is specifically formulated to address sensitivity and irritation associated with a compromised skin barrier. This cream, while dewy, dries down to a more natural skin-like finish. I would suggest that you purchase the ULTA Plush Rich Cream for your specific concerns, as you have detailed them. This product will be perfect for you! Another product you can add on is our new Velvet Biome Smoothing Silky Ointment. This product is made to put over your cream/moisturizer (similar to how you would use a makeup primer). This ointment is made with 35% glycerin and will create a moisture barrier to lock in hydration and draw moisture to your skin. This can be used day and night after your moisturizer. This is not necessary step but a great additional step if you want to have an extra layer of hydration and barrier support. We are using 35% glycerin which is the ultimate breathable skin repairing hydrator. It is meant to be worn over a moisturizer to create an extra barrier to allow the skin to heal and repair. We typically recommend this as an extra step day and night for those who are severely dry and a cream alone won't suffice. The Velvet Biome also makes an amazing primer under makeup. The Ultra Plush Rich Cream was created as the ultimate cream for severely dry skin. Our clinical study results using coreometer measurements shows that this product improves hydration for 100 hours. Our advanced Hydrous Flow Technology with aquaporin booster, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin floods skin with instant moisture and seals it in for 100-hour hydration. I LOVE this moisturizer! It is my go-to choice when I need a more heavy-duty moisturizer, which I normally always need no matter the time of year since I use a lot of drying acne products. I like the packaging, look, and feel of this product. The cream feels smooth and sinks into my skin very well, leaving my skin feeling well moisturized but not weighed down.
