How to use?
- Asked by Edith
- Official Answer By Red Carpet Manicure - Brand EngageHello, thanks for submitting your question 😊 To turn ON the LED Light, insert the cord to the back side of the appliance. Then, plug the adapter into an appropriate voltage outlet. The ON/OFF button buttons are located on top of the LED light where you see the numbers “30 & 60.” (30 secs is for 30 seconds of curing and 60 is for 60 seconds of curing) Place your hand into the LED Light and press one of those buttons to start the curing process. LED Lights will automatically turn OFF after appropriate curing times. Was this answer helpful to you

GAME CHANGER!!!

30 Watts for this price?
Do no buy this if you have access to the Internet and have time to wait for an online order. This is the price of a professional long lasting 48 watt lamp with multiple settings but you get a sturdy 30 watt lamp with two settings. If I was in a jam and could only pick something out from Ulta, this I...

GAME CHANGER!!!
I decided to up my game and try gel nail polishes. It didn't take long for me to figure out I would need an LED light to cure & dry the polish. I read the previous reviews so I was afraid to spend so much money. I decided to give it a try, knowing Ulta would refund my money within 60 days of purchase with the receipt if it didn't work. I had such success from my very first manicure! I want to share some tips from my experience because the reviews didn't give it justice and the instructions that come with this tool are subpar. After preparing my nails - filing, smoothing & buffing I washed my hands with soap and water and dried them. Then I applied 70% isopropyl alcohol liberally to my nails and dried them. While I'm not a professional manicurist, I've been doing my own nails weekly for 50 years. After watching the pros I've noticed these are the steps professional manicurists always do before applying polish. Don't forget the rubbing alcohol! I used OPI INFINITE SHINE GEL polish 3 steps. The ones with the silver handles. I applied one coat of the clear Infinite Shine 1 (primer/base) and then I cured each hand for 60 seconds (120 seconds total). Then I applied the 2nd step which is a coat of OPI Infinite Shine 2, in the color of my choice and cured each hand for 60 seconds (120 seconds total). I then applied a second coat of OPI 2 gel color and repeated the same LED light curing process. Then the third and final step I applied one coat of OPI Infinite Shine 3 Gloss. It is in a black bottle, also with a silver handle. Then I used the exact same process of curing each hand for 60 seconds with the Red Carpet Ultra Cure 30 Second LED Light. They have turned out perfectly all six times I've used this and will continue to use it. This thing paid for itself in 2-3 uses if you consider what it costs to have a professional gel manicure and pay for a tip and bonus, I could do it in the comfort of my home and go to bed afterward. My nails are still beautiful and shiny in the morning and lasts a full week or longer!! I don't think it works with all gel polishes but obviously it works with Red Carpet gel polishes and now I know it works well with OPI gel polishes. I hope you give this a try and found my lengthy explanation helpful. It's on a deep sale right now for the holidays. Give it a try. Buy it for yourself or for the one's you love and give them these instructions.
Christmas gift gone wrong
Bought this for my mom and she told me the polish was "bad", it wasnt until I used it myself months later that I realized it's the actual lamp. I used several polishes, not just the Red Carpet Manicure brand and they never dry. I'm beyond disappointed because we missed the return window thinking it was the Red Carpet brand nail polish that wasn't working.
Expensive for 30 watts
I gave this iteam a try after I read the reviews and Honestly don't waste your money on it! I bought the LEG Gel Nail polish tp use it with this and it never "dried" my nails I had to do 7 min on wach nail and it still left ir sticky! I had to return it!
