Wella ULTIMATE SMOOTH Hair Mask

This product was everything I thought it to be. I have incorporated it into my wash day routine and seemed to have my frizz under control. I am on my second day of a twist out and it still looks fresh, I have 4b color treated hair. I will purchase again.

I'm 49 and my hair has been through a lot. It's thinning, frizzy, and just doesn't look like it used to. I've tried so many deep conditioners and masks over the years—some were too heavy, some didn't do anything, and most just left me disappointed. I wasn't expecting much when I grabbed the Wella Ultimate Smooth Mask, but honestly? I was surprised in the best way. From the first time I used it, my hair felt softer and smoother, even while it was still wet. Once I dried it, I noticed less frizz and more shine. Not greasy shine, but that healthy, glossy look I hadn't seen in years. It also made my hair feel stronger and easier to comb through, which is huge since my fine hair usually turns into a tangle-fest after a shower. I use it maybe 2–3 times a week, just depending on how my hair feels. I leave it on while I shave my legs or clean the bathroom sink—nothing fancy or complicated. The smell is light and kind of salon-fresh, and the texture is thick and creamy. A little goes a long way, so even though it's not cheap, it lasts a while. One thing I love is that it smooths my hair without weighing it down. I've had smoothing products in the past that left my hair flat and oily the next day. This one doesn't do that. I still get a little volume, and it holds a style better because my hair isn't all dried out. I really wish I had found this stuff sooner. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and actually behaves for once. I still have frizz here and there (thanks humidity), but way less than before. This mask doesn't fix everything, but it's made a big difference for me. If your hair is aging, thinning, or just needs some love, I totally recommend giving this a shot.

I have really enjoyed using Wella Professionals Ultimate Smooth Mask because it smells so good and leaves my hair feeling amazing. It is something that I would not recommend using every day or every other day but rather once a week because it does weigh down my hair more than I would like but it leaves my hair feeling and looking so much better. I love the fact that this product is not tested on animals, deeply nourishes, and smooths my hair way better than other products I have tried. I am currently working on regrowing and restoring my hair because by the top part it's so frizzy usually no matter what I do but after using this mask for a few weeks its almost eliminated all the frizz! Oh, and did I mention the shine it has brought to my hair?! It looks like I have been washing my hair with rice water the shine is so good! I love it! I would recommend this hair mask to those looking to step up their hair game!

I have naturally wavy/curly hair so it tends towards being dry and frizzy even when I wear it straight. Hair masks are a staple in my routine because of this. This Ultimate Smooth mask from Wella Professionals exceeded my expectations even as a regular hair mask user. After using it, my hair is smoother, softer, and more manageable even well after my wash day. I typically only wash twice weekly and have been using the mask one of those days. My hair is easier to style and maintains the smoother look between uses which has ultimately made my life way easier. Styling takes less time and I have much less hassle getting ready for my day. Plus, it has definitely left me more confident. I love it and now consider it a staple. Highly recommend  

My hair tends to become dry and damaged from using hot styling tools and is frizzy when exposed to any type of humidity. This hair product helps with that and makes my hair feel soft and smooth. It helps control frizz somewhat, but you will be disappointed if you expect this to be a frizz blocker. The mask smells good and is easy to apply, though it requires some patience as you have to leave it on your hair for 5-10 minutes for maximum benefit. I rated this a 4 out of 5 because it does not work any better than more affordable products I have used, even though it makes my hair smell and feel good. This is something I would use a couple of times a month to give my hair some added care.
