Not Designed to Actually Hold Long, Medium-Thick Hair
I purchased the large size for my long (waist-length), fine-textured hair. In terms of total hair thickness, I would say I'm on the medium range of the scale, and this hair clip was a 100% fail. Not Designed to Actually Hold Long, Medium-Thick Hair
I purchased the large size for my long (waist-length), fine-textured hair. In terms of total hair thickness, I would say I'm on the medium range of the scale, and this hair clip was a 100% fail. It's pretty, but it's not designed well. The teeth that are supposed to grip into the hair/twist/bun are very short (not the ones that lay flat against your hair), so it doesn't actually hold a lot of hair. Maybe if I wore my hair half-up, it could work, but it's definitely not worth the price.
Not for thick hair
This clip was advertised as a clip for thick hair. I love the flat clip concept, and I have purchsed one that does hold thick hair. This clip loked very similar, but with more room between the teeth for my massive amount of hair. It actually holds less hair. The teeth are so weak, the hair the clip does clamp around just slips out. There are WAY better clips out there. Do not buy this one.
Would not buy again
Loved the look of this hair clip, but after only a few uses, maybe wore it to toss my hair up 10 times, and the teeth started breaking off like crazy! My hair isn't even really thick at all, but it now only has 1 tooth remaining so ended up tossing

Tortoise clip is great! With fall coming I think it will go with browns and greens and whatever very well. I am so happy with all of the purchases Ive made with Kitsch and also all that Ive received as gifts too! Buying for our Daughters and Daughters-in-law for Christmas from here. Great products!
