- Q
I apply this primer as instructed, not too much and wait a few minutes for it to sink in. While it does make my skin look smooth and flawless, as soon as I apply my foundation it starts to pill. Would it be better to use this primer with a non silicone foundation? Or do you have any other tips on preventing pilling?
- Asked by Eve
- Official Answer By Tarte - Brand EngageHi there! We suggest using very little product as a little bit goes a long way. Applying too much (or layering too much) can cause it to ball up. Work little by little massaging it into the skin before foundation application. We hope that helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Oily Skin & Mature Skin Friendly
I have tried a number of primers that work well on my oily skin. This one isn't formulated specifically for oily skin, but hands down it's the best. Stays on all day. Works well on enlarged pores or any texture issues. Best of all it's maturity skin friendly. :-)

Blur what???
I have tried this product every which way but loose. I tried looking up videos on how to apply. Thought, maybe I was doing something wrong. Too much? Too little? Didn't wait long enough after application? Nothing works. Goes on beautiful drive to work, check the mirror? I look worse. I kept blaming ...

Oily face no more
I have spent years trying to find the best primer for my oily face. Normally after wearing my make up for four hours I start to look like a glazed doughnut. This is the only primer that has managed to keep my shine at bay from morning to evening and allow me to keep that matte face even in the humidity. Highly recommend if you tend to have an oily face and acne prone
Yeah - no
This primer dried out my normal to oily skin and made my texture look worse. I will be returning this product.

Omg! This best stuff if u don't have u must get some you will not regret it

Contains vegetable oil!
The fourth ingredient is vegetable oil, oil breaks down make up! Does anyone else see a problem here? Or is it just me? Two stars cause I did enjoy the consistency but other than that I hate this
The Best!
Absolutely love this primer, I've been using it for years. Sadly I'm probably going to have to look for something else because the price is going up like crazy. I remember when it first came out, I paid $ 8 less.
