I know the description says use this when blow drying, but will this have any effect if I'm only letting my hair air dry?

I really love this product. However, my hair is platinum and I have noticed, over time, using this product, it turns my hair to a yellowish color, the same color as the spray. I use the Blonde Building products (shampoo, spray, etc.) but even these cannot over-power the yellowish color in my hair....

Overpriced Glorified Hair Spray
This literally did nothing more than what hairspray would do, if you used it before blow drying. Also ingredients are very similar to plain old hairspray.
