I used Redken Hot Sets years ago and loved it. If I used it, say, 10+ years ago, would that one have been the 11 or 22? I only remember there being one formula back then.

Disappointed
I have been using this product for years. Recently bought a new bottle not knowing that the formula had changed. Not only does the new formula make my hair feel weighed down and dull, but it smells terrible. Will no longer be buying this product.

Waste of my money
Hair Type Wavy Hair
After using this product, my hair feels heavy, dull, and not clean. The freshness is completely gone. I've heard they changed the formula, which might explain why it's so different now. I wish I could get a refund because I feel like I wasted my money on this purchase.
Great for hot rollers…not for curling irons

I have used this product while styling with a curling iron. I almost threw it away. It felt tacky and the texture was terrible. I did use it when styling my hair with hot rollers and it worked very well. I would recommend only if you are going to use hot rollers.
Feels Heavy
I wanted ti like this. First off, the first few sprays come out as a stream vs a mist which can make the application uneven. Once on my hair, it feels really greasy and heavy. I had to wash my hair again to get rid of the feeling. This formula just isn't great.

The product does the job of protecting from heat damage and does reduce frizz. Unfortunately, even a small amount makes your hair feel weighed down and greasy. The smell of the product isn't bad, but it's way too strong and gave me a headache after about 20 minutes with it in my hair.
All the reviews about this feeling waxy/heavy are right
Love redken products but this one is not worth the price. Leaves build up on your hair that you can feel immediately. For me the layer of waxy-ness leaves my hair looking dry and lessens shine. I bought the extra strength hold version orginally and returned for this but unfortunately both leave hair feeling gross. Went back to chi iron guard
