I just don't understand
I just don't understand all the great reviews on this one. Sweet ash is my LEAST favorite of all of Snif's fragrances and I do have them all. Yes it leans more masculine but that's not why I don't like it. It gives me a horrible headache and one spray is FAR too much. It smells nothing like vanilla....

My every day perfume
This is a perfect 10/10 fragrance for me. It's not overpowering, but it lasts all day. It smells soooo good and I get compliments all the time. Get it!
Good after 45 minutes or so
If you can power through for about 45 minutes, this does become a pleasant skin scent. I don't agree that it smells like BR540, because it is not red and fruity in any way, but it does have some distant kinship. It's the kind of fragrance that smells more expensive than it is, which is kind of a nice trait. But the first 45 minutes are not that great....almost forgettable, but with a note that I do not particularly love, like old fashioned Barbasol shaving cream or something. Difficult to explain, unfortunately. I think it smells better on clothing than it does on my skin, so it might just be my skin chemistry that is the problem.
Had to buy the bigger bottle!
I got a sample of this perfume and went through it so quickly I had to buy a full size bottle! The scent lasts all day and get compliments and people asking what I am wearing.
