Snif Sweet Ash Eau de Toilette

Im not one that does fresh, clean, tea, powder or soapy smelling scents. I like natural woodsy scents (not musks nothing heavy) and I love sweet smelling fragrances (not like 5th grade candy sweet), some gourmands… I have a very picky taste when it comes to fragrance. I oredered this based on the name itself & some reviews. Reviews can be misleading bcz there are some influencers just trying to draw in numbers & popularity for self imaging so they boast a product when it doesnt deserve it, some leave reviews that arent helpful or dont have enough experience w/perfumes, then there are some that hv experience & the williness to help others & they provide an honest review… this is an honest review & hopefully helps to choose if this is a fragrance you would like. Ive never intentionally smelled ash but I do like Birch, oak, palo santo, sandlewood, myrrh & amber. On the sweeter side I like perfumes like V&R's Flowerbomb and BonBon Pastel, some of the Phlur, Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar, Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright, Kayali Lychee. With those all being said I can honestly say SWEET ASH is exactly how it sounds. The SWEET is just enough to provide the sweetness (not heavy strong but sweet light) and the ASH just enough to give the woodsy part. To me the ash smells like a mix of palo santo and birch with the tiniest hint of a sandalwood. Whatever the actual ingredients the portions used of each is so amazing. This is my first snif perfume and the most appropriately named perfume Ive ever had or tried. It takes me out of my familiarity w/the sweeter smelling scents I listed in here but in the best way possible and allows me to adventure into a more woodsy side of things. I absolutely would not have smelled this normally bcz Im not familiar w/snif other than knowing they have fragrances but the name itself did pique my interest bcz Im an outdoorsy nature type person so I automatically love the smells in nature. The very fact that a chemist or chemists w/in their company created this is remarkable, how do you give a nature girly her outdoorsy smells along with her fascination of sweet smells… SWEET ASH!!!! God Bless the creators of this perfume bcz Ive never smelled anything like this in a bottle anywhere, nothing close. If you are wondering like I was just buy it and try it. The longevity is great, the projection isn't in your face and loud, the sillage is ever so perfect!

I've been wearing this perfume for almost a full year now. I LOVE it!! And this is coming from someone with over 100 different perfumes, Sweet Ash is easily top 3. Its smoky, syrupy, and cloying all in the best way and the cedar notes add a sexy touch of sophistication. If I had to describe the vibe the scent gives, its like sitting through a really good date at a smoky, upscale bar. If I had to compare it to a cocktail, this is totally the amaretto sour of scents. I hope that makes sense? I love all if my perfumes by Snif, but Sweet Ash hold the crown for me. It smells just as good at the end of the day as it does at the beginning. It LASTS and honestly I love how you can pick out all the different notes. Definitely worth the price! And one of my most complimented scents. If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't regret! For transparency's sake I am a 26 year old woman.

I love the scent. Not overpowering at all. Very subtle. I would've given 5 stars if the scent would just last longer.
