finally found it
my hair gets oily very quickly no matter how thoroughly i wash. this shampoo definitely controls the oil for me and i can go an extra day until my hair needs a wash day. it smells great even after my hair is dry and lathers well. unfortunately i go through a lot cause i have long and thick hair, if they made a larger size i would definitely buy.
Won't buy again
I had high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner combo since I have an oily scalp with mostly straight hair. It worked well in the first 2-3 weeks that I used it. But after that, it caused a lot of my hair to fall out. A lot more than what I usually shed. Even when my hair was dry, if I ran my fingers through it, I still lost hair when I normally wouldn't. I don't know if I had an adverse reaction to it or not, but I wouldn't recommend this.
works but causes breakage
I wash my hair about 3x a week , I have oily hair and was looking to make my washes last longer. This product does work and make my hair less oily but i've noticed it causes a lot of breakage at the top of my hair because it's so drying. It's causing me to have a lot of frizz. Might be more effective to use not every wash to not cause the breakage.

I have been through just about every shampoo at Ulta, and I have never found one that is vegan, cruelty free, good for my hair, and actually helps with my oily scalp… until now. This shampoo is insanely amazing, I can now go 3-4 days in between washes when previously my scalp would be greasy the next day when I was using a different shampoo. Unbelievable!!! So good, this is the best Briogeo shampoo in my opinion.
