Very concentrated, use sparingly. Rub 1-3 drops into hands, then smooth over damp hair for very thick/coarse hair types; use on dry hair as a finisher.

Do you have to use heat with this product ? I am trying to smooth frizz and control puffiness and relax curl (2C- 3A) but I still want loose waves with definition. Will that work? Do i need a leave in beforehand? Can you recommend a leave in (silicone free) to use with this relaxing balm product. Thanks

- Official Answer By Paul MitchellSuper Skinny Relaxing Balm can be used when air drying. It will give stronger results when using heat for styling. If you’d like to add a silicone free leave in, Tea Tree Lavender Mint Taming Cream would be a good choice.Was this answer helpful to you

The previous formula of relaxing balm in different packaging showed it contained some type of amodimethicone. New packaging does not state this anymore. So does the product work differently now that it does NOT contain any silicones to control frizz? What is the ingredient helping with frizz? Please answer the question clearly. Thanks

No, I will not buy this product again
This is my second time trying this product. My hair is coarse and wavy/curly but I prefer my hair straight. I thought this product will really relax my hair, It does speed up dry time but it leaves my hair SO puffy and not shinny. I will not recommend this product unless you want an afro.

This is amazing when you put in on before blow drying the hair and then straighten (Silk press) it leaves the hair soft /smooth and add life color back goes great with the gloss drops 
Good product but thin hair be careful!
I was looking for a replacement for a bed head product I had been using. I have curly/wavy hair that can be easily weighed down so I have to be careful to only put this on my ends and mid lengths. When applied correct this definitely works and stays put which is evident from when the cap came loose and spilled in my bag. Definitely does it's job but I probably won't repurchase because it's a bit too heavy and sticky for me in application.
Caused dry, tangled, frizzy hair

For my somewhat waves, and prone to frizz hair, this product caused dry, super frizzy, and nearly impossible to detangle hair. My hair looked horrible and felt horrible. I was concerned it damaged my hair, but I was able to wash it out a few hours later to restore my silky hair and no damage was done. I returned the product.

Super Skinny relaxing balm works nicely on my hair. A little goes a long way. I mix this together with the super skinny serum on my wet hair, air dry for a bit and then blow dry. I have very curly hair and it helps tame the flyaways and also smells good.
