We recommend applying Clinique Even Better Pore Defying Primer to create the perfect canvas before your makeup application. Apply a thin layer to clean moisturized skin and allow it to dry for one minute before applying makeup. The only way to use it is with the circular sponge it comes with, and even then it's like you have to really rub it to get product on the sponge. and then your face is oilier than before. does nothing against shine for very long. it doesn't cake up but i still do not recommend as you must reapply every hour if you have oily or combo skin

I'm happy so far with this product. Then again the weather hasn't even reached the 90's here in hot and sunny Arizona. So it hasn't even had a true chance to really do it's magic. I'm still waiting for the true test when summer starts.

Bought this to control oil through the day and carry in my purse. Literal HARD no. It is so hard I can't even use it. When I do get product on the sponge it goes on my face pure white. Seems to remove my existing makeup too. Not happy and will be returning.
