Sun Protection Measures:
Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.
Reapply:
After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating.
Immediately after towel drying.
At least every 2 hours.
Other Information:
Protect the product in the container from excessive heat and direct sun.
May stain some fabrics.

No White Cast
I recently purchased this and have used it several times already. Once under make up. I absolutely love this sunscreen. You have to rub an extra 30 seconds or so as compared to chemical sunscreen so ot blends in. I am Black, and there was no white cast. I live in Florida and the sun is on full blast like all day. Washes off well in the shower… will continue to puchase.
Works as expected
Brought this to the beach in Maryland and worked for everyone. We have a range of skin tones in our family from pale to light brown. This doesn't give as much visible white residue on the skin once rubbed in and was easy to rub in. Works better than sunbum. We didn't burn using this product for 1 week while in the strong sun. We used both the spray and the lotion varieties and the face stick
This saved my fair skin at the beach!
I am really fair and can burn easily. Blue Lizard was amazing during my beach vacation. The sport is thick and looks intimidating immediately, but rubs in very easily. I used this on the parts of my body that would be getting the most sun and did an aerosol coat allover. I only used this on my face the last day that was full sun all day. Another reviewer mentioned it stayed on after showering. The durability in the water is why it's great, so you may need warm water, oil-based cleanser and a loofah to remove all. Would rather do that than burn. I will use this for all beach/pool days going forward.
Formula changed
I've been a faithful Blue Lizard customer for years because this was one of the only sunscreens that my fair skinned daughter wouldn't get a sunburn with. This year they definitely changed their formula along with the new packaging. We have never gotten burnt before but this year we were burnt within the first 3 hours on vacation in Miami and we weren't even in the water with it. If you have fair skinned kids, I would be especially cautious using this.
Nope!
This stuff stays on even after being on the beach, in sand & ocean. Even after scrubbing in the shower, I still had some on my legs! Got home and have washed my black swimsuit and coverup and after 3 washes, both are still streaked jn sunscreen!!! Will not he using again!
