Asked by Ana
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there! Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. This serum has changed my face

This serum has changed my face and simplified my routine. I used to layer a whole lot of different serums and creams, different ingredients to do different things, but then this one came along and cleared out my cupboard. Firstly I pop on a generous dollop of The Ordinary "Niacinamide & Zinc" seru...

Disappointed

I really love this company and their products but this one was a miss for me. Not only did it not treat the redness, but it actually amplified it. When I put it on, my skin reacts to it and I turn cherry red. I really wanted to love this product.

Skin Barrier

By Aneesa K

From Lodi, CA

This really helped soothe my eczema and felt amazing on the dry, dehydrated areas of my face. But I did notice some breakouts in spots where my skin was already doing fine, so it's a bit of a mixed experience.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I've been using trentinoin for almost a year now, and for the days where my skin barrier is at its worse, this serum really helps!! it locks on mositure on my skin and really helps soothe my skin barrier. it's one of the only products that doesn't burn when I use it.

Like the product, not the smell

I've been using this serum for a few weeks and my skin (oily and sensitive) seems to like it. The smell is awful though. It smells like jagermeister to me and I had too many jagerbombs in my 20s to want to experience that smell in my 30s.

Very good serum for dry sensitive skin

Submitted 29 days ago

From Bay shore, ny

Ive been uaing this for a few months now. I use it as my third serum on my non- strong product nights either on its own or mixed with squalane. Just one or two drops is enough. Seems to soothe the dry red patches on my chin. I use very strong products every other night as im over 40 so this is a great way to restrengthen my skin barrier so i can keep using the other strong products. I had to test this product for one week. One drop on the inside of my elbow twice a day for at least 5 days and then wait another 2 days for a reaction. If your good then start using on your jawline for a few days. My skin is not so sensitive but i use strong priducts and sometimes they dont work well together. I recommend you do this as well with every product.
