The Sonic Dryer ON/OFF switch has 3 functions for ease of use while styling. To turn ON and select your heat and speed settings, move the power switch to the middle. Select your heat and speed settings using the allocated buttons on the side of the handle. To lock the heat and speed move the power setting to the top. To turn OFF move the power switch to the bottom. Note: The Sonic Dryer has a smart memory function. If you go straight to the top setting on the ON/OFF switch, it will turn on as per your last setting.

I like how light weight the hair dryer is. However, the airflow and temp never seem to change no matter how much i try to adjust. Also my other concern is a safety concern. I will sit the hair dryer down and it will randomly turn back on. The switch is still in the off position and the only way to get it to turn off is to hit like I am twisting the front of the dryer. I waited several months after receiving to use the dryer so missed the return window
