How To Use

For perfect curls, make sure the size of your section is no larger than the width of the barrel. Make styling easy by splitting your hair into sections and curling one side at a time. Wrap hair around barrel, making sure to not overlap hair. Hold for eight to 10 seconds, depending on your hair type.

Best Hair Roller Ever!I have long & thick curly/frizzy hair that is a pain to style. I tend to straighten my hair before curling so that I can get that sleek professional style. I've used hot rollers in the past that never held the curl for more then 5 minutes, but with the ghd curl iron, my hair stays curly all day & night without any other styling product! This has become my 2nd necessary styling iron (next to the ghd Eclipse Professional Styling Iron ) that is a must in my daily beauty routine. Now if only ghd can come up with Hot Rollers too for those of us with long hair and busy lives that don't have time to do section by section, as well as a styling spray to hold curls !Not designed for long hair...I purchased this curling iron bacause of the maximum heat setting and the premise that this temperature is less damaging. Also, it was recommended for long hair. I color and heat style my hair often, so the less damage the better. Thank god for Olaplex! The temperature created tight curls relatively quickly, so I would not recommend wrapping for longer than 5-8 seconds. The barrel is coated in a material that causes drag against the hair shaft when wrapping and releasing a curl. In addition, the barrel is much shorter than any curling iron I have ever used. Every time I wrapped my hair around the barrel it would get caught in the crevice where the tong meets the barrel. If you have short hair, this would be a great option for you. I have very long hair, so barrel is way too short. I cannot curl my hair around the barrel without major overlap or without my hair getting trapped. I would recommend making another version with a much longer barrel and a diameter of 1.5." Sadly I had to return for these reasons.

Was referred by my stylist and so glad i purchased. Everyone needs this in their life. The heat up is quick and the wand is evenly heated. Love it!!

I used the gold curling iron for years until recently when someone convinced me to try the GHD. It was a night and at difference in the quality of my curl and overall look. Several people have commented on how amazing my hair looks. It looks like I had my stylist do it. The curl lasts longer and provides a more elongated pretty curl. Worth every penny. I got the 1.25 inch but sort of want to get the 1.5 or 2.0 one as well!
