Step 1. PREP Exfoliate and moisturize dry areas, hands, feet, ankles and wrists.
Step 2. APPLY Glide on using a Mitt to ensure no missed patches.
Step 3. RINSE Leave for 8 hours before showering off.
Step 4. GLOW Your tan will develop over 6-8 hours into a medium golden glow. Exfoliate & moisturize daily to prolong your tan.
Precautions: Patch test 24 hours prior to use. Do not apply to sensitive, broken, irritated skin. Do not get in eyes, if you do rinse well with water. Avoid contact with lips. Self tan may stain. Wash palms after use. Store below 86 degrees F. This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn.

How long can I sit or lay in bed after applying. Will it stain my sheets or couch

- Official Answer By St. TropezThe product dries in less than a minute, so you can get dressed immediately. We do recommend wearing darker, loose-fitting clothing in the 8 hours before you shower. We also have a variety of amazing products specifically formulated for facial tanning including Purity Bronzing Water Facial Mist and Luxe Tan Tonic Glow Drops. Can i rinse in 6 hours?

- Official Answer By St. TropezWe recommend waiting at least the full 8 hours, but you still will have a glow if you rinse after 6 hours. If you want to rinse faster, you can use Express Bronzing Mousse and rinse after 1 hour for a light glow, 2 hours for medium tan and 3-4 hours for a dark tan. Most natural tan!
I have been using Jergens and drugstore self-tanners for 10+ years. I thought I would see what the hype was about, and got a small size of this. I honestly wish I hadn't because now I'm hooked! Yes, this product is ridiculously expensive for a self-tanner but it sure is worth it. I never realized how orange my other products were until I used this. It provides the most natural looking tan I've ever seen. Secondly, I shower every day and had to apply my other self-tanner every 2-3 days, but I can get a solid 6-7 days before I need to re-apply this which is a huge plus for me. I exfoliate well, apply this with a mit, and leave on for 12+ hours before I shower again. I get a beautiful, natural, streak free tan every time. I absolutely love this stuff, just wish it wasn't so pricey. It has a slight smell, but out of all of the self-tanners I have ever used it's the least offensive. This wears off evenly and doesn't come off on my clothes or sheets. Love love love.
The Best
I have trued just about every self tanner out there and each one had a draw back…until now. I have dry, pale skin, KP, and dark pores. This product goes on so easily and evenly. It doesnt settle in my knees and ankles like every othet tanner. It doesnt have that strong tanner smell. In fact, the smell is really mild. It looks natural and lasts about 5 days for me, so i only have to apply once a week. Ill never use anything else! Totally worth the money!
Medium-Light Warm Skin Tone with Freckles
St Tropez Classic is the best match for my medium-Light Skin tone with freckles. I have warm undertones and the Classic Bronzing Mousse is an exact match. Using the St Tropez Mitt, I applied this Bronzing Mousse after shower and before bedtime. Then 8 hours later I had a matching glow! I highly recommend the Classic Mousse to blend freckles to get a warm natural looking tan.
I keep coming back to this one
As a pale skin blondie I have tried many different self tanners, and I've tried from the low to high end as far as price goes. I keep returning to St.Tropez due to the reliability. It consistently delivers an even, believable color with virtually no odor and a quick dry down. No stickiness, no transfer and despite it not being advertised as such, actually has some staying power. After I get my desired level of "tan" I am able to make it last at least a week with a maintenance layer after that 1x per week. Don't take hot showers or use a lot of soap and you won't lose so much when showering, if that's a concern. This is my go to from now on and loving the big 8 oz bottle!
