def good purchase. will buy again!
I really like this product for only 20 bucks its a spray bottle the size of a normal sunscreen. It's definitely worth the buy. I would just say to make sure your skin is dry and that as soon as you spray it, you use a mitt and work in sections, probably limb by limb, and then torso and then back I m...

Bought with my OWN money!
As the title say, this was NOT gifted to me from Tanologist, I purchased it in-store with my own money! For reference, I ONLY use Tanologist products, I'm a diehard fan of their ULTRA DARK Tanning Water. It is my Holy Grail product but for some very odd reason, Ulta doesn't sell it. I bought both ...

Good Product
Tons of negative reviews but I really liked this product. Application was really easy and I love not having to let it develop and rinse off like a mousse. The only other Tanologist product I've used is the gradual lotion in medium/dark so I got this in medium as I'm pretty fair. I probably could've gotten dark but it produced a nice natural color, not orange, not patchy (I moisturized wrists/elbows/ankles before and used a mitt to blend). Applied in the tub as it is a pretty thick/wet mist. The one major con is that it is NOT fast drying. About an hour after I put on a light robe but it was 3-4 hrs before I really felt comfortable putting on clothes, so the whole no rinse element is a little negated. But ease of application and color mean I would definitely repurchase.
Wouldn't buy again but it's decent
Since ulta stopped carrying the spray tan water, I decided to try this. It sprays hard and splatters everywhere. It was sticky for the first few hours. I like the shade of tan (medium) - its not orange but more color than natural. I just wish they would bring back the Water spray

disappointed
I've been using tanologist for the 4yrs. I normally by the clear bottle and fill my mist spray bottle with it. but this year I decided to use their mist. and boy was I disappointed. it's sticky, it transfers, doesn't dry fast and it leaves you blotchy. needless to say I will be returning to my old method of just filling my own mist spray bottle with the water tanologist.
A decent replacement for the Self Tan Water
Since Ulta stopped carrying the Self Tan Water that I'm a die hard fan of, I tried this in the Dark version. I read the other reviews about it being patchy so I made sure my skin was super dry aside from elbows, knees, and hands. I did drench myself in it to make sure I got an even coat and worked in sections. The dry time took longer and was still a little tacky after but I was expecting that. My sheets are a light color and there's no stains, it also didn't smell as strong as the Water Mist it has more of an aquatic perfume scent. I'm very fair skinned and it did NOT make me orange like I was worried about after seeing some reviews say that. I had it on for maybe 5 hours and it's only a little bit lighter than what the Self Tan Water would have done. I only see a little bit of patchiness around the inside of my arms and a little on my hands. Overall it is a decent replacement, not perfect but I would but again!
