After shampooing with Nioxin Scalp Recovery Purifying Shampoo, apply a generous amount of Nioxin Scalp Recovery Conditioner to wet hair. Gently massage the conditioner into the scalp and hair, focusing on the ends. Leave on for 1-3 minutes to allow the nourishing ingredients to penetrate. Rinse thoroughly with water. For best results, follow with the Scalp Soothing Serum and use at least three times a week.

NOT Effective on Severe Dandruff
If you have severe dandruff, to the point that your scalp hurting, peeling, or even bleeding, go to the doctor and get a prescription-strength treatment. Giving this 3 stars because it seems like a great product for other people and because I do like this shampoo and conditioner, but it doesn't help...

I waited for a sale to buy this (since it's definitely on the spendy side) and bought both the shampoo and conditioner. I have never IN MY LIFE been so pleased with a shampoo/conditioner set. I dye my hair regularly and have not noticed the products stripping the color any more than a normal shampoo would. The shampoo does seem to dry out my hair quite a bit but once I use the conditioner you would never notice. I have struggled with an itchy/dry scalp and dandruff literally as long as I can remember, nothing has worked to fix it. This is the first product set that has EVER brought me some relief. I don't scratch my head anymore and I don't find flakes on my black clothes. I am over the moon with these products and if you are on the fence - just go for it - you won't be sorry.
