Do you use the whole bottle for just one treatment?

- Official Answer By Nioxin - Brand EngageGlad to help. No, this is NOT a one time use product. Towel dry your hair. Shampoo, condition, and rinse hair. Once you have towel dried your hair, shake the Hair Treatment, apply onto the scalp, and gently massage over areas of concern or entire scalp. You will only need 3-4 pumps for the entire scalp. Follow up by gently combing through hair. You should not wash the Hair Treatment out; simply dry and style as usual. Do not use the scalp and hair treatment on days you do not shampoo. For best results use this with the Nioxin System Shampoo , and conditioner. I bought the number 3 shampoo yesterday and my hairdresser said it would make my hair look thicker but wouldn't produce new hair growth. You description seems to agree. Reading the comments women are saying they get new hair growth. Is that possible?

System 3 is not the same as 5
I just bought System 3 in place of the great product that was discontinued, System 5. Why? Why? My fine, treated hair does not feel the same on No 3. Please ask your Head of R&D to explain to your Marketing Director why System 3 is NOT the same as 5. Last Nioxin purchase from me.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I never had an allergic reaction to hair products but there seems to be an ingredient in the serum that made my scalp burn. I had to rinse my head for 10 mins with cold water and apply aloe gel...luckily it worked. I will return and try cecred ONLY

My hair was thinning quickly in 2024. When washing my hair it would fall out and when I would brush it, it was a lot on the floors and all over the house. It was a sad moment for me because I always had nice thick hair. I went to get a trim and the stylist noticed when combing my hair how it was falling out. She recommended Nioxin and told me how it worked for her mother. I bought it, the # 3 kit. Was told to get the kit to see if it does work on you because sometimes it does not work on certain people. I noticed after a month that my hair was not falling out any longer in the shower or when combing my hair. I stopped using the conditioner though because for me my hair would fall out using the conditioner. I just used shampoo and the scalp treatment and it has worked for me. My hair does not fall out at all. I also take a biotin vitamin and have lots of new hair growth. I am so glad that it helped my hair to stop falling out.

First off, facts about my hair: Naturally light brown/dark blonde with heavy bright highlights. 1A hair - extremely straight and fine, couldnt hold a wave or a curl even with all the hairsprays in the world. Looks commercial smooth all the time though, love/hate type of thing lol Very oily at the scalp, very dry at the ends. I wash my hair every day. Now, about the product. For those that say its super drying, do you use the conditioner with it? Because, yes, the shampoo is a deep cleaner meant only for the scalp part of your hair. The conditioner is lovely, it all smells like a spa, almost eucalyptus-y and minty, and leaves my hair feeling soooo smooth and healthy! I believe the conditioner is the power-worker though because it gives my scalp the tingles. I see some dont like that, and it was intense at first, but i feel like it was doing something. Also, not used to putting conditioner on my scalp, usually i only put it on my ends but it recommends it and so my hair is technically flatter because its not all poofy from being over dry haha. Im about a week or two in and im in love. I saw my hair in the window of a store i was walking by and it looked like it was in a shampoo commercial! Its not noticeably thicker (its only been a week, give it some time people!) but my hair feels so healthy and i went from a decent little cluster of fall out in the shower to maybe one or two hairs. This is NOT a miracle worker, but my lanta does it make my hair feel so good. And i still blow dry when my hair is half dry, every day. All in all, smells good, makes hair feel super healthy, and im hooked for life. Maybe once or twice a week i use a purple shampoo to lighten my highlights, but ill be using this daily for as long as its available. I highly recommend and i cant wait to see my results months from now! Even if it only makes my hair look and feel healthy. Love it! ♥️
