Hello, Is this safe to use on the scalp as is or with a carrier an oil or aloe vera?
- Asked by Kandi
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there, Salicylic Acid 2% Solution has been formulated for use on the face and neck. We do not recommend applying to the scalp. However, Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner can be applied to the scalp to help rebalance, hydrate, and reduce dryness. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageUnfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. Was this answer helpful to you

Helping treat my hormonal acne
Sharing my skincare journey because I was desperate for help when I was trying to figure out my skincare routine. I am 26 years old, fair skin, I have never had major skin issues (acne, oiliness, dryness, etc). I used to not wash my face at all, I would only use makeup remover to take off my eye m...

Used to be a favorite
I was dependent on this product to keep acne and sebaceous filaments away for a long time. Then the formula changed and without it actually going near my eyes, I had a massive allergic reaction. It sensitized my skin so badly that now other products that I was able to use before make my eye swell up...

The difference is CLEAR
This product has been a GAME CHANGER in my daily facial routine. I have this very prominent area on my cheek that flares up badly from hormonal acne. Since using this product I've noticed an immense change in that one area and consistently clear skin all over my face. I pair this with CosRx "The Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care" to help minimize the redness and acne scars. Plus CosRx "Advanced Snail 92 All in One" moisturizer to help balance out the dryness from this product. These pictures are a month and one week apart from each other and it's currently winter months. So super dry air. I would 10/10 recommend this product to almost anyone. I would patch test before applying it all over or adding to your daily routine because it does dry out the skin. I would definitely advise using a good hydrating moisturizer to apply with this product.

LOVE IT!
This product is so good!! I noticed overnight that my acne scars after a horrible breakout were so much less visible. My skin looks so much clearer now 🫶🏼😌😍

Literally noticed a difference overnight. Will repurchase.
Brought my skin back to life!
For a few weeks, my skin was looking terrible and dull no matter what I did. Usually I have pretty clear skin but I had texture and redness that randomly came up and would not go away. This cleared it up basically overnight and is now a staple in my routine. I use it with the hyalauronic acid serum to make sure that my skin stays hydrated. I also have pretty sensitive skin and it didn't irritate my skin at all.
