a solid matte long lasting lipstick

* I received this product for free through influenster* To start the color is bright vibrant matte red. When you first apply it it can feel a little heavy on you lips but once it fully dries it is extremely light and not at all noticeable. I am assume this has to do with the applicator it self but i...t can apply a little splotchy. This might vary on your natural lip color to start but it was also something only noticeable on me when I looked super close it wasn't something easily spotted.  Their recommendation was to apply it in a single sweep but you might need a little touch up to have an even tone. Overall that issue probably will depend on your lip size and natural color but it still did feel like the applicator was not holding enough product. The applicator is something I am sort of hit or miss on part of me likes it and thinks it works well, but another part of me thinks it can use some minor tweaking. It somewhat feels like I don't have the best control with it and because it is a liquid lipstick it can have some edge of lip issues. Nothing major but you might need a few touch ups after applying and before dries. When it comes to drying the single sweep application felt like it took closer to 10 minutes to fully dry and not the 5 it states. This is also something that could vary on your environment, it currently is very hot and humid here so things drying may take longer than a drier environment. But something to keep in mind and to plan when exactly to put it on so it actually dries before you need to leave.  But I will say that the longevity of the wear will depend on what you are doing. After about 20 minutes you are unlikely to see any glass stains from drinking like a normal person. But anything with pressure will cause smudging and mild transfer depending on how long you have been wearing it. Such as a quick peck on the cheek probably wont transfer but a make out session expect smudging and transfer. Which can be bad if you need to wipe your mouth after eating because of how hard it is to remove and clean up this make up once it has dried to a point. For removing this lipstick you definitely need a good makeup remover. This stuff is very hard to completely get off. Water will not work, I always try water first as a hold up against long wear make up to see how a potentially wetter environment (rain, drinking from glasses a lot, sweating) will affect it. Water will mainly just smear it around your face when you try to scrub with it. Overall a solid matte long lasting lipstick. The length of wear and "transfer proof" claims will vary depending on what you are doing while wearing it. But it is a great light weight feeling lipstick that once it does enter a dried state you do not notice it on.
