We use a 3% blend that includes Bakuchiol and a retinol-like peptide. This blend promotes skin cell turnover and improves the production of collagen and elastin just like retinol, but without the harsh side effects. We also include a 0.01% encapsulated retinol, which releases slowly overnight to improve skin texture and tone but is not overwhelming to the skin. Was this answer helpful to you

hello I've never used any retinol product before and decided about a month and a half ago to pick up a low percentage retinol to see if my skin even jives with it right off the bat. I started with the gentle retinol from good molecules and so far so good, I can't complain of any nasty skin issues. I am not too knowledgeable on how to proceed forward with this retinol routine and would appreciate if an experienced woman could get back to me on if switching to this here product would be beneficial or not? I'm not sure if it is too soon to go up on the dosage of retinol yet? Is this cream considered a high dose? oh also is it safe to go into a tanning bed while using retinol on your face? thank you!!

We recommend using one pump of our Retinol Reface at night, a few nights a week to start, and as the skin becomes more tolerable of retinol, you can increase your use. We also do not recommend going into a tanning bed, as Retinol makes the skin sensitive to UVA and UVB rays.Was this answer helpful to you

Hi! I just bought this product as I would like to incorporate retinol in my night skincare routine. After I cleanse my face I usually use a toner and essence, then a green tea serum boosted with Niacinamide and a moisturiser. When should I apply retinol? Before or after putting on the toner/essence? or along the serums?

You should apply your retinol right after you essence, before any other serums. You skin should also be dry when you apply retinol, if it is wet then you may experience some irritation. I've had great results in a short period of time. My skin is smoother and lines are becoming lighter.
Works great but unfortunately my eyes hate it.
This product is incredible and such a good price point, but unfortunately no matter how far away I keep the cream away from my eye area, it still always causes an allergic reaction of some sort. Within 24 hours of using it, my eyelids both top and bottom swell up like balloons and are extremely red and itchy. Then they progressively get better until I use this cream again a week later. I was hoping this wasnt the cause as it has helped my fine lines and texture issues completely but sadly I have to stop using it and look for something else.

I originally decided to try this for my smile lines, but got the added bonus of my skin texture improving. The pump gets kind stuck sometimes but otherwise 10/10
Did not see a difference
I have oily skin. I used the whole tube & it lasted me about two months.I did not experience any issues with the pump. Product felt smooth, but I did not notice any difference to my skin. I have a couple fine lines & it did not notice any improvement or prevention with the wrinkles.
