- Q
Can I use this serum in the same routine as the copper peptide serum and the peptide moisturizer? Im currently using both of those products but want to add in a retinal.
- Asked by Kindra
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello! We suggest that you use the Retinal For All Serum and the Copper Peptide Serum in different routines as these are both very active serums and using them together can cause irritation. You can use the Peptide Pro Firming Moisturizer with both products. We would advise using the Copper Peptide Pro Firming Serum and moisturizer in the morning and the Retinal For All and moisturizer in the evening. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
can this be used in a routine with benzoyl peroxide (night) and mandelic acid (morning)? if so, what order should the routine be?
- Asked by meesh
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello. We do not recommend using retinoids and benzoyl peroxide together in the same routine as this increases the risk of irritation. If using any retinoid we suggest using the retinoid at night without any other actives to avoid irritation. Ideally your PM routine would be cleanse > tone > essence > Retinal For All > eye cream > moisturizer. Hope this is helpful! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this product be used for the under eye area/eyelids?
- Asked by LC
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageThis product is not tested for the eye area. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be applied during the day under make up?
- Asked by Aliepoo
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageRetinoids are photosensitive and therefore not effective during the day. You should only wear retinal in the evening for the maximum benefits. Additionally, please be extra diligent about wearing and reapplying SPF, especially within 24 hours of using retinoids. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Why is this formula yellow? Also, can this be used in combination with the peptide cream in this line?
- Asked by Elsa
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello. The formula is naturally yellow due to the amount of retinal (retinaldehyde), which is naturally yellow. We suggest starting slow with Retinal For All if you are not accustomed to retinoids and starting with every other day and working up to nightly use. You can incorporate our Peptide Pro Firming Moisturizer into your routine, however, if you find that your skin is sensitized by the actives you may need to incorporate it slowly until your skin adjusts. This is the case with pairing all retinoids with other actives. If you find that the skin needs a more gentle approach at first please consider pairing it with our Rescue Party Barrier Comfort Cream. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
I love this product, but I'm bothered that it comes in plastic packaging, when all of your other serums are in easily recycled and easily upcycled glass. Glass also makes for a more luxurious experience. What's the reason behind that and are there any plans to move this product into a glass package?
- Asked by Ash
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageThank you for asking and caring about our environment! While we use a premium retinal that is stabilized so it stays potent, to further protect potency and maximize results, we wanted to include the formula in airless packaging which is not yet available in glass packaging. The plastic bottle we use, though, is made with post-consumer recycled plastic. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
What is the precise concentration of retinal in this, percentage wise?
- Asked by LB
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageThis product has 0.1% Retinal (aka Retinaldehyde): estimated to be up to 20 times more effective than traditional retinol and is formulated using a patented stabilizing delivery system for optimal results. Retinal is one conversion step closer to retinoic acid than traditional retinol. We also contain 0.3% Ectoin: clinically proven to reduce irritation from using retinoids. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be used with a Vitamin C serum?
- Asked by AM
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello. It is recommended that you use Vitamin C products and retinoids in different routines to avoid sensitizing the skin. Many of our clients will use a vitamin C product in their morning routines and the Retinal For All Serum in the evening since retinoids are particularly UV sensitive. If you are using Vitamin C and Retinal please be sure to wear and reapply SPF during the day.Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is this product non- comedogenic?

- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello! All Peach & Lily formulas are formulated to be noncomedogenic. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Would you recommend this as an OTC alternative to more powerful retinols/retinoids? Also, my main skincare concerns are even tone/brightness and fading dark spots from acne scars. Would you recommend this?
- Asked by shay-skincare
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello, Retinal (with an A) is considered more potent than retinol (with an O) because it only needs to go through one conversion step to become retinoic acid (the active form of vitamin A), while retinol needs to go through two steps, making retinal act faster and produce visible results quicker. Retinal is an excellent option for dark spots, tone, scaring as well as lines and wrinkles. Retinal is the best version of a retinoid you can get before a prescription. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Whats the difference between this and your lactic acid serum? Not sure which one to get
- Asked by Liv
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello! The Power Cocktail Lactic Acid Serum works on the skin's surface to dissolve dead skin cells and promote collagen production. It can brighten the complexion and is considered a good alternative to retinol for people who can't use it every night or can't tolerate it. Lactic acid is also oil soluble, making it good for oily skin. The Retinal For All Renewing Serum works deeper into the skin to promote cell turnover and collagen production. It can help improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and firm and brighten the skin. Hope this helpsWas this answer helpful to you

- Q
In what order should the retinal serum be used with the glass skin serum, wild dew essence and a moisturizer? Should you wait a few minutes between each product for them to be absorbed or can each product immediately follow?
- Asked by Amy
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello! IF you are using both the Glass Skin Serum and the Retinal For All then you would apply the Glass Skin Serum first and follow up with the Retinal For All. Order of use would be to Cleanse > Toner/Essence > Glass Skin Serum > Retinal For All > Eye Cream > Moisturizer. Products absorb more deeply on damp skin. The general rule is to use your products one after the other, however, in the case of retinoids you should apply to dry skin as having retinoids absorb deeper can increase sensitivities for some people. Our advice would be to allow the Glass Skin Serum to dry down and absorb a few minutes before applying Retinal For All and then you can follow up immediately with your moisturizer. Hope this was helpful! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
I started out at once per week and am now up to twice per week with no irritation. How often should I try to use this? Every night or something less?
- Asked by Amma
- Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand EngageHello. This all depends on what your skin needs and what it i thriving on. This can be used nightly, if desired, every other night or a few times weekly depending on how your skin is reacting and the results you wish to achieve. If you are using nightly and experience any new sensitivity or irritation, simply scale back to every other day or less and then slowly work back up to a higher frequency if desired. Always where SPF during the day, even if just inside (due to window exposure). Was this answer helpful to you

Amazing! You just need to give it time to really work!
I've been using this retinal for 4 months, and I wanted to give it a real chance to see results before reviewing. I've tried to use retinols in the past, and have always eased into it gently using 1x a week for a month, then 2x, etc. I always ended up with an irritated skin barrier and had to back w...

Very yellow
Just to clarify, I adore Peach & Lily. I use the Glass Skin Routine Kit religiously (it's made my face SO HAPPY). But the Retinol for All seems to miss the mark compared to all their other products… simply because the product is so, so pigmented. No matter how much I rub it in, it looks like yellow ...

Love it but difficult to get out.
I am on my 4th bottle but it is really difficult to get out. There is a pump but there is no stick to go into the bottle and the product is thick so you can't tip it upside-down. I took a stick from another bottle and put it on the tip of the pump and it is working but I still have to use a little spatula to get it out at times. This product should be in a jar.
Great retinal product!

My acne has significantly improved and my blackheads have been reduced. It feels a little cooling as I put it on. I use it about 3 times a week at night and in the morning my skin feels so smooth and refreshed. It doesn't smell strong and it's a pretty golden yellow color.
Best Retinal Serum!!
Reviewed at

I LOVE the Retinal For All face serum and I make sure I never run out! I've been using this serum for almost 2 years now and it has helped my face tremendously. My complexion is brighter now, pores and fine lines are less noticeable, and even my dreaded "11" lines have improved! I've also noticed less breakouts, but when they do happen they seem to heal better and the dark spots fade faster. Overall my skin texture has improved so much since I began using this serum and I definitely recommend it to everyone. I never noticed any irritation with this product either which is a huge plus. The serum is bright yellow and quite thick, but it feels good on the skin and absorbs well. TRY THIS!!!
Amazing!!

it is incredible. How smooth and light your skin will look the morning after you use this. 100000% recommend.
Amazing product!
I have cystic acne and this helps tame flare-ups super fast! The price is not as high as some other comparable retinol products I've tried.
