Customer review: R&R Sun Elixir Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Glow Serum 30ml I normally use a SPF (mineral) cream but wanted to try something new and different to protect my face, neck and scalp from sun damage and to help prevent premature aging of the skin. I am already familiar with products from this b...rand so decided to give this a try. I have dry, early aging mature skin and have an uneven skin tone which is prone to hyperpigmentation and sunburn if I don't use spf regularly, especially during sunny days. I normally use a spf mineral cream or lotion but I haven't used a liquid spf as part of my skincare routine before so I'm curious to see if this can provide effective protection against sun damage and premature ageing of the skin. My top 5 reasons for making this purchase are: ✅️ Liquid sunscreen (chemical) ✅️ Water resistant for up to 80 minutes ✅️ Protect & prevent skin damage ✅️ Multi use - Face, body and hair ✅️ Suitable for all skin and hair types Applied to dry skin, hair and scalp. The weather was warm/cool temperatures 8-12c with plenty of direct sunlight. Used 3-4 drops for face and neck area. Sun Elixir has a mild floral sweet scent, silky smooth, non greasy texture. Dropper is useful when applying to scalp Great to take on the go. Brightens and radiates dull skin Absorbs well into the skin and feels weightless. Skin feels soft, smooth and moisturised. No white cast and I added a couple of drops to moisturiser and serum foundation for a more enhanced soft radiant look. Minimises the appearance of dry/damaged hair and split ends. Hair looks shinny and feels silky smooth. Helps to prevent fading of colour treated hair. Allow to settle for 20 minutes before applying serum foundation. Worked well with my hydrating serum, moisteriser and serum based foundation. No noticable changes in skin pigmentation. For smaller surface areas such as face, neck, scalp and hair 30ml is a good amount. The price is affordable and within my budget. Overall I am happy with this product and I will continue to use it. This is the third product I have bought and I can honestly say I'm really happy with all the products that I have purchased.
