I recently received this complimentary product for my honest review. Let me start by saying I absolutely love cleansing balms .i wear makeup daily and I like to use products that make removal less difficult. After trying the Philosophy purity one step meltaway.. I was actually disappointed. I wanted to love it. Never tried the brand before so this was all new. It did ok if just applied to maybe foundation. Though it really struggled to remove and of my eye makeup. I had to repeat a good amount of times to completely melt-away the makeup. I've tried on kinda in the past and this one isn't up to par.

I love using balms in the winter when my skin is so dry. This one did not disappoint! The balm does give a foam when applied to my damp face (which I love). The real test was could it remove my waterproof mascara? Yes, it removed it very easily and left my skin feeling hydrated.

I haven't used a cleansing balm in so long because they usually sting my eyes and smell horrible. This balm has a barely citrus scent which is pleasant, and it has no sting!! Zero irritation to the eyes. This melts off foundation and waterproof mascara with no harsh rubbing, leaves my face looking and feeling refreshed and clean. Zero residue which means no pore clogging ingredients.
