Apply generously to wet hair, massage into a lather with focus on the scalp for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly. After shampooing, follow with conditioner. For extra purifying treatment leave on scalp for up to 5 minutes once a week.

The shampoo is meant to gently exfoliate your scalp with the help of a 1.5% mandelic acid to promote natural hair growth. The conditioner is meant to thicken and strengthen the hair from the inside out to reduce breakage. I have undergone bariatric surgery and suffer from peri-menopause which both can (and have) caused hair loss. This shampoo and conditioner set not only smells great (very floral), is thick and creamy but it appears to be helping. I haven't noticed a huge change but I only wash/conditioner my hair 1-2 times a week. I hope with continuous use I will see a bigger change in my hair.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My mother-in-law was so excited to try this product out! She is a mature lady in her 60s and complains about her hair thinning. I introduced her to the OGX Pro Growth shampoo, and conditioner. The shampoo smells wonderful, lathers beautifully, and has a mildly tingling effect without being uncomfortable. My mother-in-law says she loves how it feels, and that the shampoo leaves her hair soft before she even gets to the conditioner! She also report that it does not weigh her hair down. According to her, it has improved the health of her scalp and the texture of her hair!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Really liking this shampoo. I have given it about a months use before writing this review. It has made a difference in my hair and made it a lot softer and healthier. It does not dry my hair or my scalp out. I have been doing the once a week lather and let it sit for a minute or longer and rinse. It lathers great and rinses easily. I have noticed I haven't been losing as much hair in the shower either.
