Thank you Hot Tools for coming out with a 1 inch curling brush! This is perfect for women with chin-length hair. The 3/4 inch is a bit too small and the 1-1/4 inch is a bit too large. With the silicone bristles, this curling brush "grabs" the hair a bit more and allows the curl to set better as well. I ordered mine in purple -- love it!!
I have shoulder length, fine, processed hair. I had a similar product, but lost it traveling. I purchased this because they claim the silicone bristles will help protect your hair from breakage. False! All I use this product for is curling my ends under and it ripped through my hair! When it finally released my hair, it was also incredibly static. I tried it a couple times and it's just not worth it. Back to the store it goes!

I use this curing iron every day. I love the rubber bristles, it is not hard on my hair, and it has never let me down.

Used this to smooth and amplify hair to appear more professional for a business meeting. It did the trick with a short learning curve; and I am short on patience!

I have fine short hair and it's perfect for giving my hair great volume. It's easy to use. It can be used at a Lower setting too. I also love the silicone bristles because it is easier on my scalp.

I use this product to add volume but I can't use it all the time because my hair breaks off from the damage. I use it on the lowest setting and it still damages my hair. A little damage adds volume. Lots of damage, not ok.

Silicone prongs very handy to grab hair and wrap around rod or just give slight curve. Better than curling iron since no dented ridge in hair. Can get more curl than with flat iron.

I absolutely love this brush! I have a short bob hair style and at the sides by my ears my hair tends to flip out. it just wasn't working with my hair dryer and round brush. So I decided to try this hot brush. it worked perfectly. It's cool to the touch and made my hair hang so nice. I'm so happy with my purchase!

I have thin, straight hair that is chin length. I bought this styler figuring I'd try it out. It is perfect for my hair! I use a lower heat setting and I have used it with and without product in my hair. I let it sit for about 15 seconds and I don't have issues with my hair tangling or burning. Each time I used it, I still had curl in my hair the next day.

I loved this at first because it created the curl I wanted and soft silicone bristles but if you have longer hair and and roll it gets tangled so have to use on ends of hair. I tried rolling towards scalp with just a section for volumn but that is where it tangles. I believe the tangles are what makes the silicone "bristles/nobs" break off. This causes more tangles!
it would probably be better for shorter hair and not tangle.

I use it to curl and lift my hair. My hair wants to hang limp down in my face and I've had problems with regular curling irons crimping the ends of hair if not caught just right and half my hair falling out of it. This is easy to to lift hair near your scalp and pull it towards the end and roll up and hold if you want bigger curls, or just run through for a little shape and body.

I was looking for a hot brush to give me more volume and a blowout looking finish to my medium-fine hair. The brush is not SUPER terrible but still not exactly what I wanted. The silicone bristles actually suck. If the were to create this and change the bristles to make it more brush like I think this tool would be perfect! When you use it for the first time it has a weird smell too. Idk I don't think it's worth it and I'm going to return and try and find something better.

I really love the ease of using this device. Super disappointed in the silicone bristles falling out. I would accept a trade and give it another try but couldn't recommend it if the company doesn't stand behind the product.

I was looking for a hot curling brush just like this one. The problem is my shoulder length, soft wave hair kept getting stuck in the silicone bristles. Yes, I knew not to wrap it around more than once around the brush so it wouldn't get stuck but it still did! It pulled some of my hairs out and it was painful. The bristles are so tightly packed that dirt gets caught in there and it was impossible to clean it. I tried to work with it, I must have had it for at least 6 months before giving it away.

I purchased this curling brush yesterday, and I really like it. The silicone bristles are soft, and they grip my thick, wavy hair really well. It gives just a little bit more definition to my wavy hair that can sometimes fall flat later in the day. If I use this curling brush, it gives my hair more body and consistency in the "wave" that is naturally occurring.

I recently purchased the HOT TOOLS SILICONE HOT BRUSH STYLER in hopes of giving some extra body to my curls and recurling my ends on the days in between shampooing. I have fine, highlighted medium length hair. I tried using this product initially on my hair the day after washing it and the silicone bristles seemed to grab my hair and would not release easy. I thought maybe this was due to product/hairspray being in my hair, so I gave it another shot with clean, dry hair the next day. The result was exactly the same, my hair seemed to get caught on the silicone bristles and once curled around the iron was stuck. I had to manually unroll it off and it resulted in my hair being burnt on the ends. It also put static electricity in my hair that I don't ever have so I don't know of any other reason other than I had just used the product. I will be returning this product immediately.

So easy to use - love that it has heat setting - grabs my fine hair much better than hard bristled iron and curls hair well. Also easier on the hair and no burning of hair or scalp!

Great hairstyling tool. I have medium length thick curly hair. This works perfectly to control frizz and keeps hair looking neat and shiny

This curling iron is an easy to use brush that is also safer than the barrel / clip style iron. I bought it for me and my 9 yrs. old daughter. She wants to be able to do her own hair & was looking for something to make her straight hair wavy. I was looking for something to smooth out my curls & add larger waves. This curing iron brush does neither, honestly. It some how only smooths & straightens both of our hair & only adds a bend at the ends of our hair. It was pretty expensive to not have done what either of us really wanted so I may have to return & try something else. But, if your goal is to smooth down frizz & flip the ends under or out then this is a great heated round brush! It heats fast & gets up to 400 degrees. It does not snag or pull hair & the silicone bristles or gentle on fine hair.

I was hoping to find a styler that combined a curler and a round brush into one. This one isn't it. The silicone bristles made it almost impossible to get a nice curl without it tangling and getting caught in the bristles. Not sure whose hair would be able to work with it. I don't necessarily have the most tangled hair either. I feel like if it wasn't silicone it would work better. It has a good amount of heat for the cost and is a good size, I just wish it would actually work the way it was intended.

I love the size. It stays nice and hot. Very easy to use.

I absolutely love this product! It gets rid of the frizz and I can either curl or straighten my baby-fine hair. It is heated, but I can't feel it against my scalp at all--which is great! It is lightweight and very easy to use.

Worked well until teeth started falling out after only a month of use. Very disappointing

I purchased this item to replace a much older appliance. It is so easy to use and definitely I would purchase it again if I needed to
