It took a while to find a brush dryer that would work for shorter hair. The typical barrel size was too big. I do like this. The only negative is that there is sitting on the counter if you have to put it down while drying your hair. There is no clip or piece that would hold the brush up.

I am sure it's fine for some hair types, just not mine.

I returned it to big of a handle for my arthritic hand

I bought this brush as a christmas gift to myself. I only had the OG revlon brush which was nice but ultimately felt like the bristles pulled so much of my hair out. The true motivation was not being able to achieve a blowout look on my shoulder length hair and why I wanted a new blowout brush. It just always looked straight, I believe the brush was too big for the length I'm working with. I also have curly and frizzy hair naturally, very volumous but my actual hair is not thick just for context. I figured the size of this brush would suit my hair length a lot better, and it truly does! My hair is very silky, and I get a lot of bounce on my ends. I can go a few days without washing, and I swear my hair looks it's best second day with still lots of bounce. I think wearing a silk bonnet at night also helps maintain the look and feel. I can see how this may not be suitable for thicker or longer hair solely based on the brush size. I enjoy the bristles a lot more than on the revlon. After I style my hair with this tool, barely any hair gets stuck on the bristles. I definetly recommend thermal protection with this product, it can get quite hot. There are other attachements are sold separately, I'm actually considering purchsing the paddle brush to help dry my hair easily in the mornings. Also, not really a big deal to me, but it is loud. It scares my cats whenever I use it…
