- Prep your hair - Start with drenched, wet hair and apply your favorite curl cream/gel.
- Detangle - Brush hair starting at the ends to detangle.
- Curl separation prep - Brush hair with bristles facing in, and then brush with bristles facing out. This will give maximum definition. Divide hair into sections.
- Curl Separation - Hold brush at 90 degree angle with bristles facing down. Get close to the scalp with the side ridges. Rotate the brush so that the hair is captured in the rise ridges first and keep rotating so backside grooves are facing out and hair is captured in the grooves. Hold hair at the ends while using grooves for extra curl definition and pull the brush all the way to the ends.
- Scrunch and fluff - Scrunch curls from the bottom in each section.
- The big reveal - Dry hair with a diffuser hair dryer or air dry.
