Apply it generously on the face avoiding the eye area and leave on for about 8 to 10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. I bought a jar of the clay mask and opened it about 8 months ago. There is an orange residue building on the surface of the clay. Is this normal or should I discard?

Goodbye oil clogged pores!!!
I don't think there is a woman and probably half the men on earth that doesn't have memories of using a green clay based face mask during our youth! I've been in the beauty industry since 16 years old and I remember the old school green clay masks, typically by Queen Helene (mint julepe) or Freeman....

Product caused a chemical reaction
Top notes: Did not perform compared to others when using to clear blackheads or just a general pore cleanse. Noticed no improvement of skin afterwards or over time. After a few uses with no reaction, I had severe chemical reaction to this product which left my skin blistering red for most of the day...

The most amazing gentle clay mask
I've been loving the Pore Amour Clarifying Clay Mask. The texture is soft and soufflé-like, so it spreads effortlessly across my skin. There's a very subtle, fresh scent that's barely noticeable but really pleasant. On application it feels light, then as it sets there's a gentle cooling sensation followed by that satisfying tightening effect, without the uncomfortable dryness that many clay masks can cause. I put it to the test during PMS, when my skin tends to get extra oily and irritated. Not only did it avoid causing any sensitivity, but it actually calmed my skin and balanced out the excess oil. After rinsing, my pores looked more refined and my complexion felt smooth, refreshed, and balanced. I love that it provides a deep clean, but it also leaves my complexion looking, smooth, brighter and more even. I recommend it to anyone with to oily to combo skin. My face feels baby soft. Even the packaging looks cool - the sage-green metal tube has a clean, calming aesthetic that makes me look forward to reaching for it.
Easy to use clay mask
I love this option for clay masks! It's thinner than other ones I've tried out so it dries faster without the skin feeling dry after using it. It's pretty easy to wash off too for a clay mask. I mostly use it in my t-zone, and I think it's been less oily after a few uses.
Instant Results
I've seen a significant difference in how nice my skin looks and feels after two uses. It helps clean the skin up while giving it this nice smooth texture. I'd highly recommend!
Really nice clarifying mask
This is a very nice, minimally drying clay mask that's good for people with sensitive skin, imo. I had no irritation, and my skin did not feel stripped, just tightened and decongested. I would definitely buy this again.
Great for Dry/Sensitive Skin
Used as directed, no irritation, no breakouts, and skin was glowy and clean after use! Will definitely be adding to my weekly routine. Easy to apply.
