My natural color is light brown and I have had my hair lightened by my hairdresser to blonde for several years. I am now wanting to go back closer to my natural color. (Also, I am starting to see grey.) Do I need to grow my hair out in order to change back to my natural color or is there a permanent hair color product that can help to do this quicker without using a "rinse".

Over 50 and fabulous!
I am a natural blonde but my natural color was washing me washed out. My hair was dull. I missed my spunk of the red hair I had as a child. Boy did this hair color deliver! I love it, and it was so easy. So if you are over 50 and want to channel your inner wild child like me...go for it!

Clairol Repackaged for twice the price
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This is the same product as Clairol root touch-up that's been available for over 15 years. The only difference? The larger packaging. But no, no, you don't actually receive more product, just more box. And the best part is that it's literally twice the price of the old root color kit (which is still for sale, if you can find it). It's always done a solid patch job and extended my color another 2-3 weeks between salon visits but I'm not paying this much for a patch job.

The color is fine dark brown but it did not cover all the gray hair. Also I lost more hair strands than usual after using this one.
