For a stained, just-bitten look:
Dab a few drops of color to the upper and lower lip, gently pressing the formula into lips using your fingers or a lip brush.
For a precise pout with bold pigment:
- Moisturize lips with your favorite lip balm to lock in hydration and avoid cracking.
- Line lips with a corresponding about-face Matte Fix Lip Pencil before applying lip color. For a defined cupid's bow, draw an ''X'' with your pencil.
- Start at the highest point on one side of your lip and draw a diagonal line along the inner curve of your lip. Repeat on the other side.
- Using the applicator or a lip brush, add lip color.
- To remove excess color, blot lips gently with a tissue.
For your own personalized pout:
- Prep lips with your favorite balm to lock in moisture.
- Start with a bright or deep base shade all over the lips.
- Follow with a lighter shade (or your favorite shimmery formula) and apply to just the center of the lips.

Best Brown Lipstick!
I literally love this lipstick so much! The texture is super soft, very lightweight, and buildable. I love the shade Burnt Sienna, it's the perfect warm brown, especially flattering on medium skin tones. It's a matte lipstick, but not drying at all. It feels so lightweight and gives a natural tinted look.

About face is an awesome company ! The paint it matte lip color glides on and has so much staying power. I normally have to reapply my lip color after my morning coffee this one lasted till I got home from work after 8 hrs!
Grunge
It's Ok. I got the Grunge Guru ( brown shade). It has a noticeable color, which is good. A little too dark for me and drying. I mix it with a lip oil.
Darker than expected
Purchased not your baby shade looks way darker than it shows online more of a dark mauve than a pink it's still pretty though
Still happy, but not what I thought I was getting
I ordered the shade "Not Your Baby" thinking i was getting a soft mauve color that would be relatively neutral on my skin. Im pretty fair complected so it's common for "light" shades to still pull darker on me, but this is DARK. Luckily I love a grungy lip, so ill be keeping it, but its nowhere near what i expected.
