For a stained, just-bitten look:
Dab a few drops of color to the upper and lower lip, gently pressing the formula into lips using your fingers or a lip brush.
For a precise pout with bold pigment:
- Moisturize lips with your favorite lip balm to lock in hydration and avoid cracking.
- Line lips with a corresponding about-face Matte Fix Lip Pencil before applying lip color. For a defined cupid's bow, draw an ''X'' with your pencil.
- Start at the highest point on one side of your lip and draw a diagonal line along the inner curve of your lip. Repeat on the other side.
- Using the applicator or a lip brush, add lip color.
- To remove excess color, blot lips gently with a tissue.
For your own personalized pout:
- Prep lips with your favorite balm to lock in moisture.
- Start with a bright or deep base shade all over the lips.
- Follow with a lighter shade (or your favorite shimmery formula) and apply to just the center of the lips.

Great but a Fail
I bought 2 colors. As I love the quick drying matte that didnt budget while dry as soon as I ate, drank, walked in the rain, or even had a small wet spot on my lip anything it was smearing, spreading, and bleeding all over my hands and face leaving stains everywhere. Just kissing a sweaty face, or someone with natural oily skin, bam there skin was stained. something I never have a problem with my Maybelline Mattes.
MOLD… on applicator
We did an online pick up at Ulta. The first one we received was used and appearto be a tester so we went back in the store to exchange it for another. The second one we received had greenish- mold on the applicator.

I love to blend these. They are absolute perfection.
Pretty but I can't handle the smell
I bought 4 of these lip paints when they were on sale. Hush Tonite is the only one that has arrived so far. The color is darker than pictured, a little more brown than red, but still very pretty. It doesnt have the lasting power that I like from my lipsticks, but even that would be tolerable if it didn't smell like cough syrup. The smell was strong enough to turn my stomach, and it didn't go away for a while. I'll be returning the three unopened lipsticks and giving the used shade to a friend.
Color does not match the picture
I've been looking for the perfect shade of red lipstick for awhile. When I came accross the matte cherry color I was so excited because the shade was absolutely perfect. Fast forward to receiving the product and I'm so disappointed in the color. Its a bright pinkish red. Needless to say I'm bummed and will be returning this product.
