STEP 1: PERFECT
Use the Beautiful Finish Brush to SWIRL, TAP, BUFF for an easy, expert application:
SWIRL a small amount of ORIGINAL Loose Mineral Foundation in the lid until it all disappears into the brush.
TAP away excess.
BUFF onto the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face and moving inward.
Repeat until you've achieved the desired coverage, from sheer to full.
STEP 2: SET
Using a fluffy brush, such as our Supreme Finisher Brush (sold separately), sweep MINERAL VEIL Finishing Powder across T-zone, cheeks or all over your face.

I loved receiving this Bare Minerals Get Started kit to try for free thru BzzAgents sampling program. I was initially afraid, since I have mature senior skin, that the loose powder foundation would sit in my fine lines and make me look older. But quite the opposite, it gave my skin a smooth flawless finish and the brush made it so easy to apply. The mineral veil helped "set" the foundation to make it longer-lasting, too.

This product is iconic for many reasons, but did not agree with my combination skin texture. It clung to my dry patches and left my face a bit textured because of the powdery finish. This may not be the case for you, but it wasn't my favorite product/finish!

This set is so amazing! I love it. It's such a nice lightweight foundation that is great for the summer. The buildable coverage is perfect because you can decide if your going for a natural look or a full foundation look. The foundation doesn't feel heavy at all. It gives you a flawless natural look that I love. I wish I tried this sooner! I will definitely be buying this!

The kit came with 3 pieces: one 8 gr loose powder, one 0.75 gr loose powder, one brush. The brush is very soft and it is very gentle on the skin. The powder has little shimmer and very well blended, it is super smooth after a quick touch. I chose the wrong color for my skin though. I would choose the lighter one next time.

I have used bare minerals foundation for years. It was my favorite makeup through my 20's and continues to hold that numer one spot well into my 30's. I didn't think it could get any better until I was sent this sample set. I have been missing out. The mineral veil is a complete game changer for my oily combination skin. It's the only thing that has ever kept my greasy summer skin looking fresh all day. I will never go another summer without it. I'm excited to have this for my T zone this winter. The brush the set comes with is incredibly soft and gave me the best looking coverage I've had since my 20s.
