Yes! The squalane in our Order of the Eclipse Hyaluronic Cream is cruelty-free and plant-derived.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is this gel or water based?
Asked by Steph
Official Answer By Good Light - Brand Engage
The Order of the Eclipse Hyaluronic Cream is a water-based moisturizer. While it has a rich, cushiony texture—thanks to nourishing emollients like squalane and caprylic/capric triglyceride—it’s not a gel-based formula. It’s designed to deliver deep hydration and barrier support without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. Was this answer helpful to you

I'm a 40+ female plagued with acne and oily skin since I was a teen. I still have significant black heads and occasional cystic acne breakouts which is hormonal. Acne products seem to be too drying to me nowadays and I want to have a healthy glow. I heard JVN interview David Yi, the Good Light creat...

Ruined my skin

I tried the Goodlight milky toner and the facewash and thought it was good. I now think over the last year I have been using Goodlight that is has slowly wreaked havoc on my moisture barrier. My skin is now irritated, burning, red, and dry. This is not normal for my skin. Im someone who always gets ...

Great Mid Price Moisturizer

Submitted 15 days ago

By Varissa

From Boston, MA

I am in grad school and was looking for a moisturizer that is both moisturizing and cost-effective. Originally I switched to the Sarah😙 V moisturizer that I used in undergrad, but I feel like the product was not moisturizing enough. I also previously used the Peter Thomas Roth moisturizer, but didn't wanna spend that much money while I'm not working. I bought two of these moisturizers while it was on sale for Black Friday and I love them. Super moisturizeruzing, and my skin feel so refreshed when I wake up in the morning. It also does not clog your skin as some moisturizer do. A little goes a long way with how thick the product is. The containers are a little small, so I would only recommend buying them on sale.

My one and only con with this moisturizer is that it's more pricey, than id like. But yall do not understand I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, this genuinely seems to be the only moisturizer that my skin doesn't react to and actually enjoys. if your skin can't handle anything complex or botanical and is on the drier side and needs hydration, YES, you will love this, promise 🥹💋

My skin has been going downhill after hitting 40. This cream has brought it back a bit. It's very hydrating. My skin looks plumper. I have very sensitive skin and this cream is not irritating at all.

Super Moisturizing Night Time Cream!!

By Michele

From Wisconsin

For reference I am 46 years old and have just begun a real skin care regime in the last 6 months. I have started using this cream nightly for the last month. I apply after I cleanse my face with an oil cleanser in the evening. My face usually feels rather tight after cleansing and this product is my go to for bedtime moisturizer. This leaves my skin feeling supple and moisturized without feeling super greasy for bed. This seems to have helped with fine lines and has not had any adverse reaction on my skin. I will definitely repurchase and keep using.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
