To line your lips, trace your lip line, starting at the outer corners and first tracing toward the cupid's bow and then tracing toward the bottom center.
For the fullest pout, trace the outer edge of your lip line, starting at the outer corners and first moving toward the Cupid's bow up top and then only lining the center of your bottom lip.
For the longest-lasting color, after lining your lips, use the side of the pencil tip to fill in your lips.

I dont know if i got a dud or what but, Fresh Fig does not sharpen well. I had to sharpen down almost have way to get the tiniest bit of product. Even then the edges from the pencil are too sharp to apply without almost cutting your lips. Super unfortunate since its a beautiful color.

I'm never the one to write reviews but oh my gosh this lip liner is a hidden gem! I wear this liner with a nude lipstick and it creates a gorgous lip combo < 3 it lasts all day even at the gym! 100000/10 I need 1000 more of these

I recently bought 4 of the Morphe lip liners…3 for my daughter and 1 for myself. Needless to say, we both love them. They go on smoothly…no tugging…and last for hours. Depending on what color lipstick I'll be pairing with the liner, I line my lips, then fill in my lips with the liner, then apply the lipstick of my choice. This sequence works best for me. I can't remember the names of the 3 that I bought for my daughter (I think one was Fig), but I bought the Sweet Tea for myself. It's a lovely brownish color…not a dark brown, more of a medium brown. I wear it with a very light pink lipstick and the color is stunning. I will definitely buy more Morphe lip liners, as they apply so well.

Ive never found a lip liner pencil that matched my lip color so well. It also goes on smooth and stays on almost all day. I love it.
