How To Use

For faster results, towel- or air-dry hair until it's just damp, then run a comb through to detangle.
Plug the One-Step Blowout Curls into an electrical outlet and turn the temperature dial to LOW. Gradually increase to a comfortable temperature.
Using the concentrator attachment, begin blow-drying the roots.
Continue until the roots are dry.
Remove concentrator and attach curling barrel.
Separate and clip hair into manageable sections.
Holding the wand vertically, clamp a 1-inch section at the ends and roll toward your crown. For best results, spread hair across barrel to avoid overlap.
Continue holding wand vertically until hair feels dry. (If more drying is needed, repeat with same section.)
Lightly press the clamp to release hair and pull wand downward to unroll curl.
Repeat until hair has been dried into bouncy spiral curls.
Styling tip: While hair is still clamped, twist the temperature dial to COOL and hold for 10--15 seconds.

Pre-caution: For External Use Only. The Revlon One-Step Blowout Curls is designed for 120V USA outlets only, do not use a voltage converter as it will damage the unit. The Revlon One-Step Blowout Curls meets U.S. safety requirements and proudly features the ETL Certification seal.

Say goodbye to the Mama hair Bun

I want to love this one step blowout curls by Revlon but I just like it. It does help alot to get hair dry and shinny I believe. Especially for my daughter when I have to shower her late this helps dry her hair in a short time and leave her hair silky smooth. Just make sure hair is comb throughly to...

Curls Did Not Hold

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I had the opportunity to try out the new Revlon One-Step Blowout Curls styling tool. For reference, my hair is thin, slightly wavy and long at mid-back length. I was first impressed by the sleek design of the tool, which came neatly packed in its box with...

This hot air tool is exactly what I was looking for to form soft curls. I still need some practice, but I like the results so far. I especially like the diameter of the tool.

Bummer

I am a huge fan of the one step volumizer and the hot brush. I was very reluctant to purchase this after reading the reviews but badly wanted to find a wet to dry option as a replacement for a broken instyler. I had many of the same experiences as others. This tool was awkward for my hair length and since it is so fine I could not get it to stay on the tools without bristles. I can dry my hair with the one step volumizer and curl it with the babybliss miracurl in half the time with better results. This was a nice try after the huge success of other tools but I do not recommend this as a time saving option.

I would say it does make good curls but your hair has to be almost dry. The curls will tend to loosen up and turn into a wave. I like it okay. It's better than a few others I've paid over $125 for

OK for the price

Unsure why Revlon calls this a One-Step tool, since in the tutorial video they say to first blow dry your roots and then use the blow-curler ... that's two steps! I've only used twice so far and am undecided if I will keep this tool, but so far it's an OK product for $30-ish (bought on sale and got an extra discount for buying online with store pick up). My deciding factor will be if my curls keep shape after one night of sleep (if I use my curling wand, my curls stay in my hair until my next wash - ultimately reducing how much heat torture I put my hair through). Cons: -Medium setting is already loud, especially since you're blow drying to curl all your hair. -Takes a while to get used to handling the wand while making the best looking waves, since it has a clamp. -Doesn't leave the best curls if you use a leave-in conditioner (learned from the first use, and decided to use a thermal protection spray the second time in lieu of my usual leave-in conditioner) Pros: -Curls are more natural looking, loose, and "beachy" compared with using my typical 1" wand curler -If this is how a $600 Dyson or $300 Shark blow/curler system works, you can't beat the price

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Disappointed :(

I'm so disappointed I was really excited to try this out but it's terrible. I have thick medium layered hair and this did a terrible job. Not only did it not curl well on the low setting it was too hot for me and normally low is not. I have the Revlon one step blow dryer and I love it and I use that one on the high setting it never burned me. I'm really disappointed because I wanted this to work so bad. They made it convenient to curl your hair. I think with improvements of how hot the heat gets I would definitely give it another try. I love Revlon products. I hope they will improve this one so I can use it again.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
