I thought this was going to be a miracle

I was so excited to try to ocean cleansing mudd, not only from the reviews but having figured out what works and doesn't work for my skin this sounded like a dream. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. I originally did a spot test on my neck as I do any skincare products to see if I had any reaction ...to it and I did not. HOWEVER, when I actually used it as a cleanser the peppermint scent was so overwhelming that I got physically sick multiple times and struggled to rinse it off immediately as I did read it had fragrance but was entirely unaware that it would be so strong that my eyes started watering, my nose started running, my skin felt as if it was burning, it felt like I had directly applied vicks vapor rub to my face and I vomited quite a few times. I shook it up really well and even smelled it when I did the spot test and it didn't seem to bad until I applied it to my entire face. I am fully aware everyone's skin is so complex and diverse and with only four one star reviews, I thought I would be okay, even after the initial spot test 24 hours prior. I am fortunate enough so far to not have had any sort of purging or hives. But just the experience of it making me physically sick was bad enough. My hair and body products do not even have a fragrance that strong, I really wish this review could have been different. I also bought the body oil and use it directly after the shower with no issue, it seems this cleanser specifically is just not for anyone who is sensitive to smells or sensitive in general, though I wouldn't say my skin is normally sensitive this was my first time experiencing such a reaction from any product.
