I know it says scalp oil. I have oily hair. I only use it on the ends. It works really well, it smells good and keeps my curls hydrated. I wash my hair twice a week. I put on this oil, a leave in conditioner and the light hold gel.

The oil is very nice in its smell and super light weight. I think that the oil is nice to break the cast and obviously to give nourishment to the scalp. The problem is that I do not find myself reaching for this product as much as the rest of the line. I am not sure if it does not give me the results I want because I have color treated hair, its good just not thick enough for my needs.
Lovely for 4c hair
I have a combination of 4b/4c texture and this product felt lovely! I love that it has a dropper as the delivery function because it allows me to place the product exactly where I want to. I was able to distribute the oil throughout my scalp which is great when you have thick hair like mine. The citrus orange scent is amazing and its also kind of calming as well.
