Smells lovely, but not what I expected

This is a cedar bomb. It smells like fluffy musky vanilla and a cedar explosion. I do not get creme brulee from it at all, there's no sense of deep, thick sweet, no custard, no caramelization, just floaty vanilla. The strawberry note is mostly only there at the beginning but I really wish it was dee...per, darker, juicier. It's your stereotypical light feminine strawberry note, not quite artificial but not realistic either. I also really wish the cedar note was deeper, headier, woodsier. It's like they took cedar and pulled the wood note out of it. Basically this scent does not have the richness and depth I was expecting based on the notes. It's very very nice, don't get me wrong, but for me it doesn't smell like strawberry creme brulee and wood, or have that "O M G, YUM" factor when you sniff it. Gender norms are meaningless and made up, anybody could wear this, but I am very surprised by how many people in these reviews are saying it's masculine because it really just reads like your usual sweet fluffy perfume scent, which most consider feminine. Think akin to Vanilla Vice but with a heavy dose of non-masculine cedar. Like many Snif scents, this is EXTREMELY strong upon first spray before starting to settle and even out. Even then it's quite strong. You should not use more than 1-2 sprays of this, you will DEFINITELY give someone a headache. It does fade significantly faster than some of my other Snif scents though (testing in my room and on a piece of cardstock, this faded in about half a day whereas Almond Crumb Couture took days to fade.) All in all, this is a lovely fluffy and frilly vanilla musk and cedar scent, but falls short if you want deep, sexy strawberry creme brulee. It's still a good scent and I still recommend it, just know what to expect (:
