Great for color treated hair!

I received this product complimentary as part of a promotion, but all opinions are my own! I would definitely recommend this shampoo for anyone with color treated hair due to it's intense strengthening and repairing properties - it leaves my hair looking and feeling healthier! It adds moisture and shine while also leaving the hair smoother and with less frizz. It has nice simple packaging - it's clean and good for use in the shower! It's easy to dispense the product. It's $32 for 8.5oz which is on par with comparable brands. It smells nice and light - clean and fresh. It lathers well and are little bit of product goes a long way - I was pleasantly surprised at how little product I needed for my long, thick hair. Plus it left my hair very clean without stripping!

Olaplex No. 4 Fine Bond Maintenance Shampoo is thick and when I applied it to my hair, it just concentrated on the area that I put the shampoo in. It does not do a great job distributing the product throughout the hair if not worked into a lather in your hands prior. I had to work it a little more than I'm used to, to make sure my entire hair was lathered. There were times where I had to apply more shampoo because it just wasn't enough to cover it. In my experience, it was easier to start to lather the shampoo in my hands, to a light lather, and then add it to my hair, making it easier to distribute the product evenly. It has a light fresh scent, doesn't linger and I cannot smell it throughout the day. With other products, there are some lingering scent but I did not get that with this product. It is not a shampoo that will cleanse your hair or scalp. "Received a s part of an educational promotion"
Good, But Not Worth the Splurge

tried the Olaplex No. 5 Fine Bond Maintenance Shampoo, and honestly, it wasn't bad—but I didn't really see a difference compared to my regular shampoo. For the price, I was expecting more of a "wow" moment. I'm constantly on the go between coaching, teaching, and running around with my Yorkies, so I need products that really earn their spot in my routine. This one left my hair clean and light, but not dramatically different. For such an expensive shampoo, I was hoping for a bigger payoff.
