- Official Answer By GiGiHiiiii! The GiGi No Bump Topical Solutions is NOT just for waxing. It is great at preventing ingrown hairs and breakouts when used between shaving. No Bump also works on ingrown hairs that can sometimes form at the nape of the neck after clipper cuts. If your customer is getting laser hair removal, and has to shave between laser appointments, the No Bump will keep their skin smooth and free of ingrown hairs. Just wait a couple of days after hair removal to use it, and then use regularly.Was this answer helpful to you

No Bump is quite effective at minimizing post-wax breakouts and preventing ingrown hairs. You can start using it a couple three days after waxing. - Official Answer By GiGiHi! Our GiGi No Bump Topical Solution is meant to be used regularly on the skin several days post-wax to prevent ingrown hairs, redness, and bumps. It’s not formulated to be used on the scalp. However, Ulta has a wide variety of excellent shampoos that help alleviate and prevent scalp itchiness and dryness. I would look for something formulated with charcoal, or a detoxifying scrub shampoo. Tea tree, coconut, ginger, apple cider vinegar are all excellent ingredients to help prevent itchiness and dry scalp. Dandruff shampoos or sulfur formulations can also help treat and calm the scalp. First, let me add that if you have advanced kp, I recommend you consult w/ your dermatologist. For mild cases of kp, the GiGi No Bump Scrub is an excellent way to keep your skin soft and smooth. The gentle micro beads help slough off dead skin cells and the mild salicylic acid formula unclogs the pores and helps prevent bumps from forming. With regular use, the GiGi No Bump Scrub will help maintain healthy skin. To use, apply to damp skin, massage in gently on affected area. This stuff actually prevented razor bumps. I went to the store looking for TendSkin but they were out so they recommended I try this. It's half the price and works perfectly! Best applied with hands rather than cotton ball since it's absorbed so easily with its alcohol consistency.

I recently bought Gigi No Bump Solution because I just ventured off into the waxing world (armpits, FYI!) I purchased it with my self-wax strips and decided to give it a go. The directions say to use before waxing, but I conveniently forgot. Since I am new to waxing, waxing my armpits took the entire week, and mid-week I began to notice ingrown hairs. I completely forgot I bought this product, so I began using it for exactly what it says it assists with. Omg. After applying one night, the next day was a miracle. My armpits had no ingrown hairs/tiny little bumps anymore. This is a saving grace. I then began using it how it SHOULD be used which is, before waxing and after. I absolutely love this & I cannot believe I didn't find it sooner when I was struggling from shaving. I apply it by pouring the liquid onto a flat cotton pad and rubbing it up and down my armpit. Honestly, it does burn sometimes, but to me its a 'hurt so good' feeling because it gives off a cooling sensation. I feel the product working and doing it's job. It just is what it is and beauty if pain! My waxing hurts much more -ha! The smell is nice, it's a fresh minty scent. I will continue buying this when it runs out. It's fantastic.

Used to get so many painful ingrowns with shaving or waxing intimate areas. After using this they stopped coming out. I love this product and will never stop using. I pour onto a cotton ball and gently put on after you shave or wax.
I love it!
If you get bad razor burn or your skin gets irritated easily from shaving, I'd highly recommend. I've been using this product for over a year now and I've noticed a huge difference. I rarely get ingrown hairs or razor burn/bumps when I use this after shaving. I apply a little bit on a cotton ball/pad and dab it on my bikini area. It does burn slightly when you first apply it, but then it's more of a cooling feeling afterwards. Overall, it's a great product and I definitely recommend it.
I did not like sensation

I purchased this product because it was half the price of Tend Skin (which I have used for years). However, when applied it leaves a warm burning sensation (not painful at all, but sort of like icy hot). 1. I don't like that feeling in general with products and 2. definitely not around bikini line. I returned this product and went back to my tried and true. I can't speak for whether it helps lessen ingrown hairs since I only gave it one chance.

I get ingrown hairs often after shaving my underarms. This smells like acne pads (same ingredients), but it seems to be keeping my skin from trapping hair regrowth. So I'll keep using it. Not sure if I'll rebuy or try another brand.
