My new favorite productI was so excited to be selected to get to try the Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides as I am very familiar with their products and used the Ordinary skincare line for approximately two years and have always been extremely impressed. That said, their original moisturizer is not hydrating enough for me in the winter months as I have extremely dry skin. I am thrilled to say that the PhytoCeramides moisturizer is the PERFECT winter moisturizer. The consistency reminds me of mixing a hydration lotion with a sort of facial oil which makes it extremely hydrating. When I put it on my skin, my skin looks dewy and glowing. There is no burning sensation when it is applied which is fantastic, as I have very sensitive skin. A little bit of the product goes a very long way. A pea sized amount covers my entire face and gives me hydrating results all day long. I use this both in the morning and at night and I currently have been only using this. After a long year of health issues, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease last summer. I have extremely limited energy and I will freely admit that my once lengthy and detailed skincare regimine has taken a total backseat for the past year. I have noticed this winter my skin is burning, very dry and I can absolutely tell that I have not been taking care of it the way I used to. Without the energy, a detailed, step by step process is just too hard. For the past month I have been using JUST this both morning and night and it has made a tremendous difference in my skin. My makeup goes on way more smoothly and I have lost the dry patchy spots on my face.Way too expensiveSure, the product is fine, but the ingredients do not justify the price. The main reasons why I'm choosing The Ordinary products are the price point AND the quality. However, since Estee Lauder's acquisition I am afraid that the prices won't be as accessible as they used to be anymore, which is quite the shame.

Luxurious Feeling Rich Moisturizer

I've seen the one star reviews for this product. The description states this has twice the emollients of the original version. I wouldn't purchase this if I had oily skin or just don't like a rich feeling moisturizer. I would go with the original version with half the emollients or something different. Everything in the description sounded like a dream for super dry skin and it lives up to my expectations! I have normal to dry skin and I love what this product does for me. I apply a thick layer at night because I want that feeling of my skin being very moisturized in the morning. This leaves my skin feeling smooth, moisturized and nourished when I wake up, never oily or greasy. For those of us who like and need that film or layer to remain on top, you can have it by applying a generous amount. It spreads very easily and far. It gives the benefits of a rich moisturizer, but it feels lightweight and almost whipped to the touch. I can use a lot less product for daytime and it doubles as my primer moisturizer and makes my foundation look even better. The moisturizing effects of this product are long lasting, I never have to reapply.

The moisturizer is great! It's just oily, so for those that have naturally oily skin….this may be a no go. My skin is not, so it's absorbed in about 30 min and my face feels fresh for about 6-8 hours. Love this brand!

Dry skin must have!!

I have extremely fry and sensitive skin. I have been using the other moisturizer from The Ordinary but notice how it does not leave my skin moisturized through the night or during the day. When I saw this new product I knew I wanted to try since the other product was not bad. I'd recommend this product for only at night for anyone looking for a more thick and heavy moisture layer. I'd recommend the other product for during the day or under makeup!! I prefer my night creams to be heavy so they last through the night, if you do not like heavy moisturizers then this may not be it for you. Gave 4/5 stars just because it feels a tad greasy but not unbearably greasy!! Dry skin must!!

Too oily and greasy!!

I was excited to see this new moisturizer from the ordinary as I thought the original product was not moisturizing enough. But this was too moisturizing for my oily skin. It was also thick and difficult to spread onto the face.
