Lift and rotate the lever of the clippers. Gently clip nails into the desired shape by starting at the corners and clipping toward the center. Use the attached nail file to shape and clean under nails. For best results, clip in the center of the nail last to prevent splitting. Remember to disinfect your tools regularly by soaking for 30 minutes with 70% isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or antibacterial soap. The original matte ulta clippers worked really well and were worth buying, while the ones they're selling now are cheaply made junk.
