OLAPLEX N°.0.5 Scalp Longevity Serum Treatment

I never realized until using this product how essential the scalp truly is and the role is playing in my hair health and overall look. since now having used this a couple times a week for 2-3 weeks I can visibly see the difference. overall my hair from root to end looks healthy but the feel of it to is so different. its smoother and softer to the touch and SO much easier to manage. typically my hair would knot almost instantly after brushing it and my roots would get oily after one day post shower but slowly its changing (definitely the tangles & a bit with oiliness). if this is just a glimpse of what using this scalp treatment can do for my hair in general, both the feel and look, I am sold. All I really did was apply 4-5 lines of this treatment along a parted line like right at the roots after every time I showered and boom. I highly recommend trying this product.

I like the texture of this. It's super lightweight and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down, which is usually my issue with scalp products. I've been massaging it in a few times a week, and it makes my scalp feel more hydrated. I haven't been using it long enough to notice a major difference in my scalp or hair health, but I have noticed my hair looking a little fuller since starting it. That might just be from more consistent care, but either way, it's a good sign. I love Olaplex products in general so I'm happy to keep this in the mix and give it more time. I received this product in exchange for an honest review! I struggle hardcore with finding the proper products to help my dry and flaky scalp. I have even been to a dermatologist to help find something that would help reduce redness, flakiness and itching but to no avail! So with that said, i was a little skeptical about this product but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome! To begin, i love the packaging that dispenses this product. The small tip makes it easy to apply the serum to your scalp without coating all of the hair in the way! It worked perfect for reaching harder to reach areas and provided good coverage. Additionally, this product had minimal smell, if anything, which i can appreciate as it didnt mess up the smells with my other hair products. The best part of this product for me is that it didnt have harsh chemicals that left stinging or burning sensations. I only knocked a star off becausw it is kinda greasy if it gets in your hair strands, so best used with wet hair or at night, as the bottle states. Overall, i could see an improvement in hydration and overall reduced flakiness. I would recommend this product!

As soon as I applied this serum, my scalp felt cool, refreshed, and super hydrated. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any greasy feeling, which I love. After a couple of uses, my scalp felt balanced, less itchy, and my hair looked shinier from the root. If you love that "clean scalp" sensation this gives you exactly that. Wish the bottle was bigger, though!
