How To Use

  1. Remove the cover from barrel heads before turning on.
  2. Plug the unit into an electrical outlet.
  3. Twist the temperature control dial at the base of the handle from OFF to your desired setting (indicated by the LED light).
  4. LOW setting is ideal for fine hair, HIGH setting is best for thick/coarse/textured hair, and COOL setting is best for enhancing shine and locking in your style.
  5. Once you are finished styling, unplug brush dryer and wait until completely cooled before storing away in a dry place.
  6. How To Change Barrel Head: Before changing barrel heads, wait for the barrel head to cool completely. To remove the barrel, push down on the lever found at the back of the handle, and turn the barrel so the unlock symbol aligns with the arrow located just above the lever. To insert a new barrel, place it onto the handle, and turn until locked in place.
  7. Cleaning & Storage: To protect bristles, place the tool upright or lay over the side of the counter. After it's completely cooled, remove trapped debris with the cleaning brush and then cover with the protective cover before storing.

Styling Instructions:

  1. After washing hair, towel dry to remove excess water.
  2. Apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice.
  3. Detangle hair prior to styling.
  4. Begin styling once hair is approximately 70% dry.
  5. Section and clip additional pieces of hair up and out of the way.
  6. Working with a manageable section, place brush dryer underneath the hair, near the roots.
  7. Hold for 2-3 seconds at your root, and working in a downward motion, slowly rotate the hair around the barrel of the brush dryer as you work from root to tip.
  8. Continue until the section is dry (make sure to keep tool moving at all times).
  9. If any sections near the root remain damp, insert brush dryer and hold for an additional 2-3 seconds, or until dry.
  10. To create soft curls or add shape to layers, hold the brush vertically and spin in place.
  11. Select the cool setting and run brush dryer through your hair to help lock-in the style.

Amazing for thick hair!

Review for the Oval 2.36" (60mm) brush: For everyone out there with super curly, thick, and/or coarse hair: stop looking for a dryer brush because this is it! Sad face :(

I bought this to replace my black one because some of the bristles have become flattemed over the years. Not even 2 minutes after turning it on it made a loud sound and completely stopped working with a weird smell. I'll be returning it to my local Ulta and hopefully they can order me another one. ...

I do not recommend for curly hair

I have fine hair but very curly from top of my roots. The brush doesn't work well for my hair type. I have tried several times and my hair still not completely straight. Unfortunately, it took me so long to tried and my return period ended. Price was good, but I'm staying with the red brush instead.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Review for the Oval 2.36" (60mm) brush: For everyone out there with super curly, thick, and/or coarse hair: stop looking for a dryer brush because this is it! I have a 4B/4C type curl pattern (mid length hair), and I was afraid this brush wouldn't be able to handle my crazy hair. I ended up with a beautiful blow out, though, that I couldn't be any happier with. The brush gets hot enough to handle thicker hair (unlike other brands, so I've heard). It won't burn you, though! In addition, it cuts down on my flat ironing time because my hair is already pretty straight after using the brush. I just have to bump my ends with the flat iron and that's it! Just enough volume (not too poofy and not flat either). This brush is totally worth the price (even when it's not on sale), and it's not even the most expensive one! Friendly reminder: Don't forget to use the appropriate heat protectant for your hair type BEFORE using this brush!

Pulls hair

Purchased to replace the teardrop shaped model which does not come apart. Although I can understand the convenience of having the blow-dryer and brush as two separate options, the seam where the brush detaches catches hair and pulls it out. I can't recommend this product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Good, but decreases volume and fries hair

Its a great idea, but it only really works on semi- dry hair and there really isnt a way to control the heat like I thought. It literally fried my hair and woukd pull out so much of it if i wasnt super careful. Highly reccomend sticking to a blow out brush and regular dryer (shark pro:)
