I was surprised how clean my brushes got so quickly, but then I tried using some of the cleaned brushes to apply products over my base only for the left over cleaner to remove some of my base and not evenly apply the next products.

I travel a ton. I tried these on a impulse bye because they were on sale. I am very pleased with their performance while traveling ! it really does help out with keeping brushes clean . They work just like handy wipes. Pulling out of the package wipe down brushes and toss! Easy quick and doesn't leave your brushes soggy.

I'm usually in a hurry and this gets the job done. I use it to clean my brush in between eyeshadow colors and it works great. It is a bit oily when you handle it but it doesn't transfer to the brush.
