Step 1: Start in one area of the face or scalp, gently rolling 4-5 times horizontally, vertically & diagonally.
Step 2: Continue to the next untreated area, repeating Step 1 until you've treated the entire desired area of the face or scalp.

No great for scalp - you barely feel it. You're supposed to feel the needles so your follicles are stimulated. This feel like a soft toothbrush on your hair. I am 72 and started to get lines around my mouth and did some research on Derma Rollers and thought I would give it a try. It's not an overnight fix especially at my age but I am starting to see my lines smoother less noticeable. Very Happy with this product and Kitsch is a wonderful company.
Easily the worst item I have ever purchased
I don't understand these positive reviews. Definitely fooled me. The needles are blunt, rollers dont move smoothly and get stuck. The protective case is designed poorly and hard to get the roller in and out. The roller broke from the hinge after one week of usage when getting out of the case. Do not recommend
