While we strive to create products that are gentle and safe for a variety of needs, we must acknowledge that we haven't thoroughly tested this particular product for color safety to make that claim. However, I can assure you that our product is free of SLS/SLES* sulfates, which are known to be significant contributors to color stripping. While this doesn't guarantee complete color safety, it does indicate that our product is formulated to be gentler on colors compared to products containing these sulfates. We always recommend doing a patch test or consulting with a professional if you have specific concerns about color safety. I tried this product every which way. I used every styling product I had, every drying technique, different quantities, different frequencies, etc. I tried it so much I exceeded the 60 day return window. It ruined my hair. Not low poo!!
It's a lot of lather. It strips your hair of all oils during the cleansing process, which I can imagine isn't good for black girl fine curls. It left my hair feeling clean but thirsty and dry. I prefer a moisturizing cleanser.

Still causing hair damage DevaCurl
I was a dedicated user of DevaCurl until their products were causing hair damage. They said they resolved this and after many years I came back to them. I just threw away my more than 1/2 full products because it's making my hair fall out in handfuls. So disappointed and such a waste of $
