I couldn't get past the smell…
I buy products from this line for my daughter and have loved them in the past, but I can't get past the heavy perfume smell. I miss the fresh, clean smell of the previous formula. Had to return it. If the entire line smells like this, I will need to find a new line.

I LOVED the original formula
I've used the original formula for several years now. Didn't know they changed it so the consistency is different, it doesn't work as well and the smell is HORRIBLE. Smell won't go away until you scrub your hair clean. Why change a wonderful product?
Leave-In Decadence Moisturizing Conditioner
I've never used Deva Curl brand products til now. I was skeptical about the brand due to the reviews on all of their products, but I decided to try it after I was told that I needed to use a leave-in conditioner to keep my naturally curly hair from drying out fast. As a child, I had very curly hair. As a teen, I had wavy hair. Now as an adult, my hair is mostly wavy with some curl & I'm trying to get back to all of the curls. This product smells amazing & leaves my hair silky smooth. My husband likes the scent of it as well. I shower before bed & don't use heat on my hair. I wring out my hair & apply this product to the ends. I don't do anything special to it & wake up with a lot of curls that are easy to brush through. Since using this product, I have more curls than I've had in a very long time.

I use this after I wash my hair as a leave in product. It works great.
Works well
First time using DevaCurl products. I paired this with the wave maker and HATED the texture of my hair. So I just added this leave in in addition to my regular products of Pravana Leave In and Chi oil, and I think I like that better. It helped a TON with my frizz. Didn't completely smooth it out, but I'm also dealing with insane weather and humidity. Will definitely keep using this as long as it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down. I don't know my "curl type" but I'm half Hispanic with frizz/wire like waves and thick hair. Doesn't seem heavy but haven't used it long term yet
Great leave in conditioner

I leave my hair slightly damp and then apply this conditioner. The Company got the packaging correct ~ Can't understand why other companies don't use a pump for a conditioner that is very slippery.
